This arrived just now as I was in the middle of picking photos for today's article.
As I took this photo, I thought it would be a good opportunity to run another competition. This time its a bit easier - you must guess whats inside the boxes.
Hints:-
1. There are 4 figures in total -two are game characters, two are anime characters.
2. The labels on the boxes are misleading. Sizes of the boxes are misleading.
3. There are *two unreleased* items - one from Good Smile company and the other from Freeing - one is moe and the other not so moe. Check their site to find out.
4. One of the figures is my number 1 fave figure which you will learn from reading my profile.
5. One of them is an old release. Shes a loli with twin tails - Either a GSC or MAX item.
6. Color hints - pink, yellow, white, dark blue.
*More* than generous hints!
The winner is the first one to get all correct - I will check the time stamp of your post.
Deadline is this time next week.
Notes:-
1. The winner gets a figure of their choice worth up to 150 USD from one of my partners.
2. When you win, I will put you in touch with my partner and you will choose whats available from their site.
4. They will ship directly to you.
5. Does not have to be one figure but can be anything up to 150 USD - has to be in one shipment.
6. No you cant have the cash instead.
7. Can be a future release as long as they are still taking orders for it.
8. You need to choose your prizes within a week of winning and cant wait until you see something that you like.
9. You cant choose which of my partners you want your prizes from.

One thing I want to point out, Danny, is that you really needs to have the the hints and stuff finalized before posting. It seems a bit unfair for people who guessed early on, then for you to put a 1 post cap then add an additional hit, basically leaving people from early on outside in the cold rain, lying on the ground, defeated.

This was an interesting contest. It makes you do some researching (but the difficulty is encouraging rather than discouraging like that pantsu contest), and the many hints given ensures that it will take some time before you come to a solid conclusion, as well as slipping many others up, and allowing a wide range of answers, as we see here...

Alright, spent at least an hour and a half weighing all the choices. There are way too many possibilities... The color hint may or may not refer to the hair color or perhaps the most outstanding color... But, I've deduced that,

Shiki Ryougi can be the Not so Moe, but she is from a Light Novel and not from either a Game or Anime.

*gives up* Oh well, better luck next time. :P This is quite an interesting way to do it Danny - after all our discussions, this actually works quite well. The hardest one was definitely the twin-tail loli - you have to work your way through the others and then guess that one after process of elimination.
^^; I tried to cheat by looking at your office photos, but no such luck. I have two or three alternate answers for #1, 3 and 4 with different colours, but without a loli it's pointless.
