Japanese Street Fashion

4 and 12 are decent, but the boots ruin it... sorry danny but #1 looks really bad, looks like he just got out of bed

I dig all the clothes in black especially number 11.

I kinda like the style from 4, 12 and 17 if I'm to choose right away. Haven't seen a lot of guys with this style past their twenties (in USA at least), I think it's more tied to teenagers.

I like 12, 11 is pretty cool, but I though #1 was a hobo.

I think out of all of them, I like to dress as #4, it suits me better. Although, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't look good in any of these without the proper hairstyle.

I hate them all...

The style isn;t bad. In terms of the guys, I like 4, 12, and 17 with their shades and fobby haircuts. Still, they all look kind of like standoff douchebags IMO (and some of them look like they haven't showered, ew.)

If I could afford the clothes, I'd go 10, 4 then 3.

I like 4, 10, 11. However the style doesn't really fit my region... we will die from HEAT. (unless you can stand it)

4 without the feather, 12 and 17. They look good but tend to also look quite heavy.

3, 10, 7 one thing i dont like about fashion is they are designed to look good in perfect looking people as in models, not those who are short, chubby and got short leg... and utterly expensive...

#10 for me... and maybe #1 too, because I like comfortable clothes

seems the Japanese are all going for that rocker style.

I lean towards 17 since it is pretty simple in design, which is how I dress in general, but I wouldn't mind 11 either. #1 reminds me of some of my stoner friends, the ones that always try to invite me to marleyfest.

They all look like such poseurs. I could probably imagine my big bro wearing one of those, though.
My "fashion" consists of a plain t-shirt (sometimes with a zip-up sweater) and blue jeans.

There are some of these I wish I could pull off, but not really any I think I could wear right now.

1, 9 look like bums, 2, 3 and 10 look like gangsters.
The rest all look like Metrosexual Emos in my eye. Of which, 16 and 17 look really, really, gay.
If I HAD to choose one I guess it would have to be 10.
I'm not trying to insult anyone or to flame, that would just be my impression of the person if I were to see/meet them.
I've lived in America more than half my life, (South California, LA) and that's just how I see it as a man.
I don't really know how other people see it, and how much it differs from where you live or if you're a woman.
As such, I would like comments on what you guys think of my opinion as well as your opinion on this matter.
I would also like to know: Is this style 'normal' in Japan for males?
Please advise. =P

If I had to pick a style to wear, I'd probably go with 17.

I guess I would wear #2 If I was a vampire but other than that yeah none of them is for me.

I'm more of a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl so #7 is as near as it gets to my kinda guy. The rest are dressed too outlandish for me.

None, thank you. I hate wearing jeans, and I like my khaki pants...so I suppose 10, if I'm forced to pick. I also have a thing for long black jackets so I'd steal the jacket off 13.

Ahhh.. None of them fit me. I just stick to my cargo pants, t-shirt, and sandals. Beach look =)

looks like the early American "Grunge" look. Only lasted a few years and died out.

I wouldn't try any of these...I prefer a simple T-shirts and blue jeans...

Pants seem to be a bit on the tighter side for my tastes.

As a female, and taking into consideration only their clothes and not the state of their hair
#3: love the shirt and vest combo
#4: the peacock feather, he pulls it off
#7: the fedora really goes well with his outfit.
#11: he looks coordinated
#12: pretty good except those brown boots.

None of these are my kind of guys. A couple remind me of the stylists at the hair salon I go to.

Sadly I'm the kind of guy who doesn't care on how I look as long as I look normal...
Basically a Tshirt, jeans and running shoes work for me...
I look normal...if people saw me, they wouldn't think I'm an otaku...

I don't think any of those styles fit me at all. I prefer to look something other than disheveled...

I have little to no style. Why should I bother? I like to think true "style" is beyond skin deep.

Seen better, normally people who dress like that here are always looked kinda down as being show offs, only women use boots like that here and even so we normally tend to ask if they're going to ride on a horse later on. Normally here people tend to dress casual, nothing fancy or "flashy" just pure casual, normal shirt, jeans, leather jackets (depending on the weather).

Choosing a number? I'd probably only choose number 4 jacket, cause seriously if I looked like that (all numbers) on the street people would think I was gay or crazy.

10. The style is more casual, so it's not too bad.
17. I like the idea of shirts and jeans but, otherwise it seems as if he's trying to hard.

The rest are all nice but, not really within my taste. It's not bad but, I just prefer simple, casual clothes or smart casual styles... going the extra mile to follow fashion is not something I like as much as the former.

If my wardrobe consided of these clothes (though i wouldn't prefer them) i would probally put on number 10 or 4 and as said before change the boots.

Can't find an appeal to any of them... so I guess I dislike them all...

4, 12 and 17, are the best outfits. The have a kind of classic rocker air. Still I like to wear a little bit more of punk/goth style.

They all look like they came straight out of a square enix rpg, which is good I guess depending on you're preference

I think Japan street fashion is very cool! #7 and #12 used to match my style pretty well, actually. These guys are quite a bit younger than me, though, so I none of these would suit me very well these days.

infact, I kinda dress like that but without the hairdo, gloves and wearing shoes instead.

1 and 10 seem decent to me, they seem to be the only ones wearing flipflops, although 1's left foot kinda looks like he's wearing women's shoes... i'd go for 10's khaki pants and 1's jacket. and top it off with flipflops, as to look like i came from the beach. haha.

4, 10 and 11 looks pretty good i have to say.
