You know, I have that very same 3 hole puncher. LOL, just kidding. You have an impressive collection. I currently have a small bed room so yes some figures are stored away (some may go up for sale soon). And some are about to come out of summer hibernation :)

i'm also trying to save money for a glass display case, i like my glass shelves but i'd honestly prefer something closed. But it's so hard to not buy figures to save up to buy said case. i was able to buy those shelves a while back since that month i only had like two pre-orders but lately i've got 5+ each month so it's a bit hard to spare some change... and awesome room!

I have too much stuff to actually display it at once, so tons of it stays in "storage" - or rather, strewn around in their boxes on top of furniture, inside of cardboard boxes

I'm impressed. Seeing the bookcases now gives me an idea to ditch a couple of my DVD cases and replace them w/ bookcases so I can actually display figures. Time to plan a trip to IKEA...

If I couldn't fit all my figures in one consolidated space, I'd put them elsewhere in the house. It'd be like Easter eggs, but better. :D Actually, due to my room in my apartment being so small, I've kind of resorted to that already. My Figmas and old MLPs take up a few shelves, but Miku's pigtails take up so much space that I had to put her on my subwoofer below my shelves, and I put my only static figure (Creator's Labo Rakka) on my nightstand. It actually looks pretty good this way.

And if creative shots are working their way into "bold and daring", I definitely have to take that night shot of my Figma Miku next time I go home. . . Should turn out awesome, all backlit with blue. :D

We're both otakus. He's more into games, I'm more into manga, we like both (games and manga) and also enjoy watching anime together ^_^ We also collect figures... I have more though ^^'

IMPRESSIVE.

My ex-boyfriend introduced me to dannychoo.com. He is very much into anime (especially all kinds of Gundam), collects Gundam figures, is a martial artist (and collects martial arts weapons). I was more into manga, fashion culture, Morning Musume, and dramas.

Love to have that kind of room! XDD

Omg that is some collection, and unlike some other otaku rooms, yours is quite neat and tidy, I like that.

The original question, how otaku is my gf, she is very much so. I would dare say she is more otaku than I am. While she is watching Soul Eater and doing fanart/fanfics like it is no tomorrow, I am losing the drive to watch anything.

dang. I'm jealous of all the manga. I only have 1 bookshelf with 4 sections and it's jammed with novels and other books. I only have about 1/3 of the number of figures you have, but they're in the family glass case that's about 4 bookshelves wide. Of course, it's still crowded in there.

Single and probably will be for some time... I'm not a big otaku myself. Well, I am an Otaku, just not in the same kind of way many people are here.

Don't have a bf but, of all my Otaku friends, there's only 3 that are more Otaku than I am XD The rest have only recently joined the Otaku family.

I thought the whole picture is her room, didnt notice they are actually two pictures ^^; I was still wondering why the floor has two colors. lol.

Awesome collection, that's a whole lot of, well... everything. I couldn't have that much out on display at once, the clutter would drive me up the wall...

...which goes some way to answering the question: When I run out of room I start putting figures away (would NEVER sell, oh God no). I dust and vac my room about once a fortnight (otherwise dust and grime builds up on the figures and gets ingrained, never to be removed again) though... so simply for my own sanity I have to limit the number that's out. So there's a few favs that are on constant display (ARIA undines, FMP!'s Tessa, FLCL 12" Canti) and the rest go on rotation :D

My girlfriend and have the same likes, but she's a little bit more into Visual Kei while I'm a little bit more into manga and anime.

Impressive! You've got me convinced about getting new bookcases. I put my figures in my closet. I've been thinking about getting Billy from Ikea. I mean.. Billy the bookcase.. maybe with Morebo doors.

wow I'm jealous! I don't even think you need a nice glass case, I like the look of figures integrated with other things. For some reason I really like the appearance of cluttered bookshelves.

wow i have to ask about your manga? because ive not seen a collection as big as yours before, private or in a shop. goes with saying youve read the most so are you finding it hard now getting new manga in english because youve already got the rest more or less?

i ask because ive now completed all the manga i set out to get and im desperate to find something that interests me now but im not having much luck. im aware in japen there is literally a manga for practically everything but for as much as i can look at the artwork for hours on end id still prefer it to be in english.
