Nuke Those Trolls

Thanks to Tenrou for taking the initiative to bring this up.
At the moment only I have access to the tools to nuke a troll and I do so immediately when I see one causing trouble.

It can be tough to go through all comments/posts/puchi blurbs so I need your help in weeding the trolls out.
Please report any disturbances to [support at dannychoo dot com].
Keeping silent about trolls when you see one means you don't care. The community has been pretty peaceful but as readership grows, it attracts folks who seek a place to blame society for their current misfortune and end up blaming us.

Millions of people walk through Shibuya crossing every day and yet there are only a handful of police in the area - so how come the place is not rampant with crime?
I think its because there is a mutual understanding that humans govern themselves and will take action to keep the peace. if you saw somebody getting their bag snatched, would you just watch?

The few disturbances of late have prompted me to the need of introducing more tools as I alone cant keep an eye on everything that goes on.

if disturbances continue I will need to activate the nuke devices.
The nuke device is a device that you will carry around with you at all times while you are at DC. Trolls will be semi-nuked by a certain number of citizens and placed in a penitentiary ward.

If the troll was legitimately nuked, they will be nuked indefinitely.
If the troll was unjustly nuked (I would decide), then the group or members who carried out the nuking would be questioned for incorrect use of the nuke device. All uses of the nuke weapon will be logged to ensure that it is not misused.
Only members with a certain number of comments and who have been registered for a certain amount of time *and* have a certain number of news items can carry the nuke device. These members are known as "trusted members." nobody will know who they are as they are undercover.

YouTube and many other networks have something similar - usually just a "+" or "-" next to a persons comment. But in this case, when a person gets more than a certain amount of "-", they cant do anymore damage.
Members cant misuse this function because each use of the "-" is logged. Only I will see the log.
Trusted members do turn rogue (as we have seen in the past) but more than one trusted member needs to use the nuke device before imprisonment.

Nuke devices will be used for keeping out trolls but instead of enabling the feature, I would prefer that you help report them when you see them slithering about here n there.

Would you approve the activation of this feature to keep the peace at DC?

While this isn't wide spread, here, I figured I wanted to address this as a community member... ^_^

I've been reading the puchi blurbs and some comments in various articles, and I've noticed something disturbing. While it's natural to disagree with folks about various topics, some posters seem to be taking the disagreements personally and lashing out with name calling and character assassination attacks.

So, I'm urging my fellow DC members to remember to respect one another. That doesn't mean you have to like everyone around here or even agree with them, but you can still treat them with decency and respect. We can even argue, just don't take it into personal attack territory.

Afterall, we all came and registered because we enjoyed the site, and wanted to participate in the community. Don't make Danny come down with the ban hammer on you just because of a personal dispute.

My two cents on the matter.

Miku singing Kirisame Marisa's theme just for the fun of it...
