Pushed out the code for Profile Page EX (EXtended). You can click through to your profile page by clicking on your nick name anywhere on the site (non members can have a look at my profile page).
You will see that your Otaku Videos, Otaku Links, RDC Calendar and Puchi blurbs are now all aggregated on your profile page.

The content that you have been submitting means a lot to me and the community and I would like to express my gratitude by making the Google Adsense block on your profile page embedded with your Adsense Pub ID. This ID cannot be overridden by DC Rewards (Adsense) and will always display your ads as long as you have registered your details in the profile edit page.

Dont forget that you can also make money by recommending Amazon products which are also embedded with your Amazon associate tag.

More details after the jump...

Profile Page EX is for the following two types of person.

Profile Page EX is for the non blogger

Some folks can find that updating a blog regularly can be difficult. A post can take longer than expected to complete. This is where Profile Page EX steps in. Videos, Links, Calendar items and Puchi Blurbs can be added to your profile page within 2 clicks (1 click in the case of Puchi Blurbs) and can be added whenever you are browsing other sites or YouTube using special bookmarklets that I have prepared for you.
If you are interested in making some pocket money at the same time, register some Amazon products and your Google Adsense details too - the more you contribute to the community, the more your profile page will be exposed and the likelihood of you making money goes up.
Below: The videos that you add are all aggregated in one place - the same goes for your links, calendar items and Puchi Blurbs.

Below: All items that you add are comment threadable.

Profile Page EX is for the blog owner

Folks who already own a blog can use Profile Page EX as a means to drive traffic to their own existing blog. You can register your RSS feed and write up about what you do and what you are interested in within your profile. The more you contribute to the community, the more your profile page will be exposed and the more traffic you can expect being channeled to your blog.

Whats Puchi Blurbs?

Done a silent launch of Puchi Blurbs over a month ago and am extremely happy with the results.
Puchi (ぷち)means "mini" and is basically a way for members to give short updates on what they are doing right now - a bit like Twitter for otaku.
Below: Your Menu has been upgraded where you can access all content that you have added in the past. The field enables you to one-click update on what you are doing.

Below: Your updates appear on your profile page, in the Puchi Blurbs section and on the top page.

Soon, you will be able to add other members to your comrade list as well as communicate directly with each other - your Profile Page EX will play a key part in that feature.

BTW, Figure.fm development will have to wait just a wee bit longer as Mirai Inc takes on more new clients.

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

This item was posted in the Misc category. You can see more of everything else or subscribe via RSS instead.

Haha. Nice name for the new profile page.

By the way, does Amazon associates/affiliates apply to countries other than your current locale? For example I am in Singapore (so I choose US locale) but I would like to recommand JP products. Would that be possible?

I'm having some trouble with the Amazon/product recommendation. First, I can only seem to get 7 ASIN numbers into the form field; the help blurb states I should be able to fit 20.

When I add even just one item to the ASIN list, nothing shows up on my profile page. I've triple checked my Amazon Associate tag and locale; I've also turned off all ad blocking, etc. when visiting my profile page. Nothing ever shows up under my product recommendations.

And one last minor item; when you have no puchi blurbs, the profile page says "sprak has not added any videos yet".

    Cheers.

Hey Danny Nice work been waiting for this for a long time YAY!!(^_^)

Qn 1. is there anyway to intergrate Part of my profile into my website say like RSS feed of my Punchi Blurbs and the Vids I submitted?

Qn 2. about the Amazon Locale, What If i wanted to Recommend from say US & JP? how will I go about doing that?

Also does anyone know, if I somehow managed to sign up for the Amazon JP account (If i can get thru the registration) Does Amazon Japan give comission if I don't live in Japan? I would prefer to recommend Products from Amazon JP cause thats where all the new otaku stuff is....

now that my site is up an running I will start looking into these features.

Nice feature as always. Yer I do agreee with you, sometimes writing a post does take up more time than expected, especially when you want the content to be as accurate as possible

First of all, great stuff on the Profile pages. I registered yesterday and I am glad I did!

And now, to something less great.
I received an email today regarding the Timelessmovieprop post from a few days ago.

I think you should read it too since it is about you, and it is not very friendly. It seems that one me and another person, Red Tiny Man, have received this email.

I wanted to forward it to you, but a can't find your email address anywhere here on the site.

You can just email me, then I will forward it to you, if you want me to.
