Dropped Anime
Heres a list of anime from the current season that are on my drop list. #w#1,2,Lucky Star#w# (lucky-ch.com)
I watch anime at night and refuse to treat myself to anime unless I put in a hard days work ^^; I guess I was expecting too much from the first ep of Lucky Star and ended up watching dialog going back and forth which didnt help keep me awake (t'was late at night). I know many of you love it though and I've put it on my 'pick-back-up-list'. Should I start watching from a different episode? #w#3,4,Reideen#w# (reideen.jp)
Dropped after ep1. The way Saiga all of a sudden became the pilot of a huge mecha in the first EP seemed odd to me. And why does he have to be naked to pilot a mecha? But then again Haruka may look nice piloting Imber in her birthday suit ^^;

I was expecting another Planetes (which I liked) style show but personally didnt like the animation on moonlight mile which caused me to drop it. Dropped 15 mins into ep1. #w#7,8,Sisters of Wellber#w# (avexmovie.jp/lineup/wellber/)
Cant remember why I dropped it but do remember stopping about 10 mins into the first ep. The girls in it were nice though. #w#9,10,El Cazador#w# (elcazador.tv)

The way the pilots were chosen and brought together in ep1 just seemed rather odd to me - dropped after ep1. #w#13,14,The Skullman#w# (skullman.jp)
I thought the animation was excellent and was a show that I was looking forward to but after two episodes I dropped it. I guess it took too long for us to find out who Skullman is - is he a good guy or bad guy? #w#15,16,Heroic Age#w# (starchild.co.jp/special/heroicage/)
The opening to EP1 was really good and seemed like the beginning of some epic saga in space. But then I saw the hand animated cells and was not particularly impressed. It was the quality of the animation that put me off and dropped it halfway through ep2. #w#17,18,Seirei no Moribito#w# (moribito.com)
Nothing wrong with this show - its just low on the priority list and will pick it up again. The main character is nice and has huge eyes ^^;

Picked this up because the illustration of the girls look so cute but struggled to make it through ep1 as all I saw was dialog going back n forth. #w#21,22,Rocket Girls#w# (rocket-girl.jp)
Cant remember exactly why I dropped this. I think t'was because it took too long for something to happen.
As you can make out from my descriptions of the dropped anime - one of my weaknesses is that I'm impatient ^^;
On a different note (and going off on a tangent ^^;), I'm not sure if being impatient is a good or bad thing. I think being impatient has helped me achieve a great deal within my short career and make decisions that I may have taken longer to make if I was more patient.
I guess I prefer to make something happen rather than wait for it to happen. I do realize the mistakes that I have made in the past from being impatient however and just need to learn how to control it - a bit like how the Claymore girls control their demon within ^^;
Heh, that reminds me of when I went to an interview at Sapient Japan many many moons ago - I was asked my weaknesses. I said "I cant think of any in particular" (!)
How embarrassing ^^;
Sapient did offer me a position but by that time I already had offers from Ebay and Amazon...
