GSC Max Factory

When I first saw the pic - the first word I uttered - "Whaaaat?!!!!"
More pics at lu-k's burogu. Will post this on the GSC site tomorrow or Monday. I'm sure the boss will be happy to see this ^^;
A few more of you have posted stuff and I will post them too.
For those who are posting entries to go on the GSC site, please say how many figures are in the pic and which region you are from.
Original text from lu-k below.
Oyo! took me "a little" time to gather my beloved GoodSmile Cie and Max Factory figures together, but finally, here my entry!
Ok, in fact few more kits are not visible on this picture, so you can come over here to see the rest, plus some extra closer shots, ku ku ku ^^;
Now I am thinking of bringing all these outside, but I don't know yet how to proceed...
If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.
If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

Hail Lord Lu-k! Great collections.
Accountant
Nice colection. I don't know why, but am really loving the ToLoVeRu figures lately. Possibly due to Yami-chan :o) The GSC lala looks amazing, i didn't order because I saw the other one first which i think didn't look great. But the GSC lala is amazing, so got to order this!!
Regarding taking figures outside, i'm always worried they will get dirty or broken. How does one go about taking a figure out for a photoshoot?!
Software Developer
http://www.mukyaa.com
Taking one or two figure is ok. You can easily look after it and avoid any accident, I assume.
I have already taken few outdoor pictures, putting figure in wet grass, sand, snow etc... but dealing with dozens of figures is another story I guess ^^;

wow, looks really good - very nice and vibrant picture!
did you make a custom stand?
Software Developer
http://www.mukyaa.com
Yes, custom stand with steel boards, cardboard pipes, and a very large black piece of cloth covering the whole. That's what I used when, with the help of some friends, we had a figure booth during a local anime conv.

There are no 2 of the same figures right? I don't think there is from what I can see.
I had to blink 3 times to ensure I wasn't dreaming. lol

No double right (though I have two or three copies of several figmas, like Saber, Tsukasa, Haruhi, Fate...)
The Lucky Star nendoroids are from different versions too.

wooooow. that is huge. :jaw drops:
i doubt anybody has this many figures of GS and MF except maybe that person with the walls for shelves. the picture should be taken in panorama mode by stitching two+ pics. it would look awesome.

ZOMGWTF?! That is a huuuuuge collection. Amazing.

I just realised: THIS is the point where a collections transitions from a gathering of items to an artform in itself. Let's see if I ever get that far

i counted about 110 figures. (lost count in between, so it should be around that much) becomes 111 if the one suzumiya which was not put in is added as well. whats the right figure Lu-k?
Software Developer
http://www.mukyaa.com
One the "full" picture yeap. But I would say 109 actually, since Sasami and Misao (the two cuties behind Miku) are retailed as one single figure, but two characters.

wow, that is one spectacular collection, at first I thought it was photoshopped, but your site proves me wrong lol.
All these figures were released in the past 2-3 years right? Is this like all of the Max Factory and GSC figures released during that period?
Software Developer
http://www.mukyaa.com
I guess the "oldest" one is Max Factory blue Kasumi, I grabbed in 2006. There have been muuuuch more GSC and Max Factory figures than those displayed here released since then :)
