Anime Art
I was most surprised to wake up to a mail from member xjaymanx and seeing this gorgeous piece of work. While I have an image of what I envision Kako to be in my mind, this was the first time for me to see a visual representation of what she could look like. xjaymanx's site has other color variations and the larger version. Thank you xjaymanx!
xjaymanx's work has reminded me that Azamiyuko and I should start to work on the character design for Mirai's younger sister who is at the moment called "Kako". Her name will probably change though as some Japanese folks thought it was odd to call her "Past" (Mirai means "Future"). The setting of Mirai and her sister does not change and you can read about it when I announced her anime ^^;
Mirai's sister will be rather moe and loli and I am currently going through manga and anime series to choose an image of what she should look like. If you have an idea of what Kako should look like, let me know. I'll probably end up choosing bits and pieces of different characters.
If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.
If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
