I just released the info for Figma Shana on the Good Smile site - more pics at Good Smile. Shes out this December and retails for 2,500 yen.
Cant wait for this release! Speaking of releases, just got back from lunch to find a Figma Saki Dashi Sample Tsuruya-san on my desk - Figma Theater soon ^^;

"Saki Dashi" [先出] are the first samples of the final product from the factory and literally means "First/initial output."

Also uploaded some of your collections to Danny's Corner. Maybe I need to prepare "as seen on official Good Smile Company site" banner? ^^;
Photos are automatically watermarked so I hope you don't mind. Keep em coming.
If you can also list how many figures in the photo and what kind then that would be greato desu.

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

This item was posted in the Figures category. You can see more of everything else or subscribe via RSS instead.

    I think I saw some pics of her earlier today, and didn't like the neck... but this angle is looking great! Though the hands look a little big... XD
    Yeah, I'm a tough crowd. :P

    Collections are looking great... mine is too puny to compete with them. I only have like 6 puchis and one figma.

    But I'm trying to think of some creative way to picture them so it's worth putting up...

    heh... I know what to get my Shana crazy friend for Christmas now! Quick question though. I showed my friend a magazine scan presenting Shana in various poses and what is included in the package. My friend pointed out that there weren't any faces among the other parts. The faces he asked for were the "Urusai urusai urusai!" face, tsundere face and happily eating melon bun face. Any idea if Goodsmile will include them?

    My first reaction was AWESOME a Shana figma! Then, I saw the face...doesn't look right. The number one important thing in a figure for me is the face. Thats why I didn't buy a Fuko from Clannad figure when I saw her in the stores. And yes, I see how her arms and hands are a bit too big for her body but thats not as important to me as the face. My 2 yen.

    Having a better idea on the hard work put into a figurine, I can't voice my opinion on it without reflecting on how the next person may see it.
    In my opinion, the face is an important part of the figurine, not being able to 'click' with it causes me to change my decision on buying it as a whole. It's not the figurine that is badly made; it’s just that my impression of it differs.

    I think I've said this elsewhere before but I'm kinda shocked by how this figma came out. Shocked in that it looks good only some of the time. Depending on the angle you look at it in, it can look good to absolutely odd. A lot of people mention the face, but the neck is also kind of strange depending on the angle you look at it in. Will have to see the product in person to make a final judgement...

    Is it true that the brown haired Shana is only available by some sort of competition? The other difference, apart from the hair, is that the flame-haired version's melonpan is nibbled, wheread the brown haired one is intact. Heard it on 4chan, so the information may or may not be reliable.

    Shana looks pretty good to me, though I didn't follow the show as closely as some. I'm really looking forward to your Tsuruya pics! I've got a Figma Tsuruya on order, but it looks like the last figure I'll be able to order for a while, as the exchange rates to the Canadian dollar are not favorable at the moment. Hopefully they will clear up soon, as I would really like to pick up a Figma Seto when she becomes available.

    Nice. Now that's the way to make anime figures with red hot blazing fire for a hair. :D And her stare is just dazzling. w00t!

    Smile and eyebrows. Fails, hard. But it's always nice to see Shana figures. The body scaling (specially torso) looks nice, and so does the hair too. And it's coloring.

    Nice! I don't think the face's too bad... a bit off, but not too much... Aw, what the heck. I'm not allowed figures anyway 'cause of that nonsense with my brother and those stupid McFarlane cr@p.

    The product is ok but the face,the lips and the neck is like not so Shana..I think they should based the anatomy of this figma to the anime series/manga.
