Ranking Charts

I've had this feature on the site for a while but spent some time beefing it up quite a bit - the Ranking Charts.
The purpose of these charts is to help you keep in the loop with whats hot n selling in Japan. The figures, anime, gundams, eroge etc charts list the best selling 150 items for each category all on one page and refreshes every 24 hours. Have also prepared an RSS feed for each category too.

I'm using Amazons API to integrate their catalog data into the site which provides an accurate picture of whats selling right now. This feature does not replace RDC - it complements it. RDC is a community calendar while the Ranking Charts list everything thats selling in Japan right now.

Below: Under each item you can see an "add to your calendar link" which enables you to one-click add to your RDC calendar. On each category page you can also see the RSS icon for that category. The RSS feed only lists the top 50 items though. Let me know if you need more items.

Below: Some examples of the categories available. First off is the top 150 best selling eroge titles (includes pre-order titles)
Below: Top selling 150 anime titles.
Below: Top selling 150 figures.
Below: Top selling 150 Gundams figures and kits.
Below: Top selling 150 idol DVDs.
Below: Also added a new "full menu" page to accommodate the current/up n coming features - find this on the header menu under "more".

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

This item was posted in the category. You can see more of everything else or subscribe via RSS instead.

One question tho, why is there figures in the *selling* ranking charts when they are not even out? does it count preorder too?

Hum I don't know Danny but Amazon Uk and Amazon Jp seems to be a bit different since in Amazon Jp they sell figures and Gundams and Amazon Uk doesn't, still I buy a lot of things from Amazon Uk like books, used and new video games and DVDs so I consider it great apart from not selling figures and gundams.

Speak of the devil, I just ordered something from Amazon. Its pretty neat: Amazon (USA Site) has a few Gundam kits for sale (OK prices, would like cheaper) but you can find true gems on there: I picked up a Playstation 1 game called "Treasures of te Deep". I remember playing it 10 years ago (Im that old now?!? 0_0), saying that it was an amazing game. Couldn't find it on Ebay, could find it on Amazon. I actually find amazon a lot easier than going through Ebay.

By the way, overseas buyers must take care of the fact that Adult DVD aren't sold outside Japan.
    For example:
    http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000NS8E2A/mitsu-33-22/ref=nosim
    "...
Shipping: We're sorry; this item can not be shipped outside Japan
    ..."
It's weird, especially when you know that most of the adult video have a mosaic on genital parts. Maybe to not have trouble with foreign rules about porn stuffs.

the category I mentioned can be termed as " 画集", "ムックリスト","設定資料集", or "イラスト集"(this is what amazon.jp named) in japanese.

In short, this category contains the anime or games related books other than the comics and magazines.

    here are some examples:
Yours―堀部秀郎ART WORKS(too sad he left us a year ago)
