How Often Do You Visit dannychoo.com

I visit the site once every day, after spending time at campus and doing some studying. My reasons for visiting is that i can keep up with things Otaku-related, and of course reading the articles that might be interesting from time to time.

I post stuff when i feel that there are some stuff i want to share, not necessarily related to anime, manga and games, but i post those that might be interesting to others (i posted a news article about the top 10 difficult games, and Danny himself hijacked it for everyone to share).

Such is life ^^;

I visit once a day if i have the time available, which i usually do. I would avoid visiting on Sundays past the morning, since there was a risk of seeing a spoiler for Code Geass. Most posters would warn in the title, but sometimes i would catch comments on articles not really about the specific episode.

Every 30 minutes or so if i'm at home... If i'm at uni its as soon as i can grab a machine and get logged on ^_^.

I like the posts and people, this community is so much better than most the drivel you see on the net.

I visit mainly twice a day (1 pm and 11 pm) but more if theres nothing of interest on the internet or around me. I visit mainly to keep up with the member news (since its now two pages a night instead of the one) and also because of Tenrou's scenarios which I use to annoy people on my side (in a good way).

I don't mean to check it every 3 hours a day. I just get bored at school

DC.com is a staple of my internet browsing. I check hourly usually, even if I'm at work.

I could say that I am always linked to dannychoo.com. That is the magic of rss feeds. There is no need for me to come down here to check the news and hit refresh until new posts come out. I have my rss aggregator Feed Demon for that. When a new article is available it automatically tells me that there is one. Even this post was found using my rss reader. With RSS Feeds I keep up to date with all my interests without even visiting the sites. The program brings the news to my table.

So thank you Danny for having rss here of everything.

I think most of our reasons for visiting are the same. I myself haven't posted much news - only three, despite having been here longer than you have - mainly because I'm pretty picky and only post things that I feel is worthy of discussion. I usually visit around twice or thrice a day. Once in the morning if I wake up early enough, once when I get home from Uni and once before bed.

If I happen to be working on an essay, then once every half hour. ^^;

I visit everyday, maybe once before I go out, sometimes mid morning at work. When I get home too, and depending whether I have a gig, refresh every half hour or so, or check before bedtime.

Practically everyday at least once, assuming I don't get busy and miss a day. It is nice to be around a community who shares my interests.

Dannychoo is my home page on Firefox. I come here everyday and refresh the page every 10 minutes..I just love this place....the Otaku environment here is just amazing. I feel like im at home when i come to this site. Ive never seen anything like DC before. I should tell others about this site.....Keep up the good work Danny!!

I thought of post/upload things more often but that would leave me spamming like, so I've decided to upload when its suitable.

I follow the RSS feeds, so I come here every time I notice a new article show up on the feed.

I pop by at least twice a day? Weekends I'm mostly afk so I am less likely to check DC :P My current work require me to be on the computer a lot so I do come back and refresh once in a while ^^; I can't keep track of all comments directed at me so I must apologize if I missed comments for me here ^^;;; Occassionally I post my artwork here, but if I find news I felt interesting I'd post them as well, these days I am a bit busy so don't post much news :P

Whenever I'm on the computer and doing nothing, even at work when my employer doesn't see me. Don't worry, my employer will not be on this site as it is mostly NSFW. I like member news cuz it fills in to what japan technology is going and info tidbits of anime and other related stuff.

I visit at least twice a day, once from work and once from home. For some reason, my connection at work makes accessing the site kind of slow sometimes. It doesn't stop me from checking though.

I'll also access at home to take peeks at the pix that are marked NSFW knowing that I won't have a co-worker hovering behind me should I click one of those links.

Well, I have an RSS feed on my iGoogle, which I look at every so often (being vague on purpose :D)
I just click the links for the articles I want to read (which is usually everything, but whatever).

I digest this site and members' sites way more often than I do respond or give evidence of my presence. I should set up a local web proxy to offset some bandwidth usage.

I have witnessed the destruction/evolution of other communities and it's never worth the effort to try to stop big forces of change. I know how to restrain myself, I think.

There are times when I can be rogue in spirit. No one likes change for the worse. I usually keep these feelings away from the site, because negative energy just wastes more energy.

I don't know if you consider it `visiting', but I generally read the articles in my rss reader, then head over the the linked page on the site if I see an interestering article (there is usually a couple of these every week ^^).

Hmm, I'd say every 3-4 hours when I'm awake. Always trying to keep up and see if I'm missing out on anything. This has become probably the most visited community I've been to in years.

I usually visit the site once per day, leave the main page open and minimize the window and click refresh every few hours ^^; Pretty much same as what Actar does it seems.

As for why I dannychoo, this site is great and Danny does a superb job to maintain it. I don't know how he can manage to do his jobs, posts several times a day, travel around Tokyo taking tons of pictures and etc >_< It is due to his hard work and also the diverse individuals(aka otakus around the world) that gather in this site that makes me come back all the time. Long live dannychoo.com and rest of us :D

and btw danny, as for members who send u mails asking u to ban somebody, i believe they love your site so much that they can't bear to see it tainted by others. this behaviour is common in fourms whereby everyone has a say on how the forum is to be run. but in this case, this is danny your blog after all so i understand how u feel. they have good intentions but sadly am taking their love a bit too far as to interfere by telling u how to run your own blog.

giving suggestions on how to improve the site is fine but telling danny to ban someone is too personal in my opinion. that is up to danny to decide, not we.

While I don't comment or post news or items as much as I did before or like other veteran members, I still come and visit dannychoo.com at least once a day. LOL all day every five minutes! I even visit during my working hours though I'm not supposed to use the computer for that (or use the computer altogether). I love Danny's photos, which brought me to this site, initially. They're not your typical photos of Japan - Mt. Fuji, pics of women in kimono type of things, ya know, tour guide-ish stuff. They're more real to me. And of course, his night shots are killer, I see all kinsd of colors that I'd never notice in real life.
And I get to read about things at a perspective of a foreigner who lives there. It's great because I may become one just like Danny someday...

Every evening after work, and at least twice on weekends. Over the evening I can flit back and forth over a period of hours in between other internet browsing, watching tv, washing the dishes, feeding and bathing the kids etc.

I probably read 50% of the member news (I used to read it all but it's grown so much in the past couple of months, it's too much to handle), and 99% of Danny news and articles.

I love the site content, but I probably wouldn't have kept coming back if the other members weren't so helpful and friendly :)

before discovering DC, i was an active member of a local forum and mods a few of its sub forums. after discovering DC, it has totally converted me to ditch the forums and move on to visiting/commenting on DC daily and eventually starting my own blog. this is how influential DC is. ^^;

I visit as many times as I can during the day, if im just burning time on the net this site is the place I visit to use up that time. It's also one of the first stops of the day for me as soon as the PC is loaded up on the morning, catching up on the latest posts and articles and everything.

The thing i've found about this site is that time absolutly flies when im on it, I remember once I logged on just after midnight and next thing I knew after i'd had a good explore it was coming up to 2.30 in the morning, boy I was tired the next day lol

Since i'm not an otaku, or even close (i just like drawing manga and watching action anime), i'm here because I like the community; no trolls, no flame wars, and its all very relaxed and stuff. Plus some of the member's puchi blurbs etc make me laugh. Hell, member chun's puchi blurb "sharing is caring" kept me chuckling for a good half hour!

Anyways, I try not to post if i can, since my humour doesnt go down very well, but when i do you peeps are pretty cool about it. In short, this community is the dog's nuts.

Those days I don't visit the site regularly anymore to my greatest regrets....too much work and crazy shifts.
But it is a goldmine of info and thoughts and opinions ....altough I may not always agree.^-^
it brightens my vision and understanding of others.
Sometimes even provides a goal to achieve...keep going^-^

I visit the site once every day (usually at night at around 6pm Philippine time). I go to the "everybody's news" section and read all the articles I missed when I wasn't online x_x

I try to visit once a day. If I'm busy with other work or stuff then I would have to skip a few days off ^^. But I do read all the articles and news. Can't read all of the member's news though.

I check the site mostly through my RSS reader but about once a day I'd browse through the site and Otaku.fm

I visit dannychoo.com once or twice a week. Why? Because I found a lot of useful information and motivation too. Moreover, I kinda feel a lot better having an article opened in a window. Trouble is that it's difficult for me to stop because I always see a new interesting article I haven't read. But don't regret a second of it!

i visit once i wake up and read posts before work, then at lunch, and i read posts continuously after work till midnight. i visit the choo-zone to get updates on all things japan, anime, and otaku. also like to see all the cool posts from different people from all over the world.

waha dannychoo is now a verb! I dannychoo quite often ever since I caught wind of this cool website. I actually check up on updates daily on my RSS feed, usually when I take a break from manga-reading after school. it's just so interesting - reading about Japan. really makes me want to move to Tokyo.

I try to get on here a few times a week but sometimes to busy with work but im here on the weekends lol. I come here to see new articles and comment on them for people who have similiar interests as me, I also check out the companys that Danny has on here to see if they have any products i like. I have bought stuff from GSC and other people i wouldnt have found unless they were on this site.

How come Dannychoo is such a really clean site? There are no spams,no tiresome,prolonged comebacks, camouflaged links to porn sites, derogatory words toward other users, you know, useful stuff we can't seem to forget to add to our opinions. 'Cos there's a lot of sites who have rules and defense mechanisms but none is so clean.

Every few days or whenever I'm not busy, I used to log in everyday but work is always in the way.
Reasons for visiting is because its a way to get away from reality and talk to people that have similar hobbies.
I go through a lot of forums and dannychoo.com has the most laid back atmosphere and the people are extremely helpful and I learn a lot of new stuff every time I log in.
