Japanese Music

I think I've mentioned it before but I learnt a lot of my Japanese through listening to JPOP. What I loved about Japanese music CDs was that they all came with lyrics - one of the reasons why most Japanese seem to be able to sing quite a few tunes in a karaoke bar I guess ^^;
My favorite artist at the time was Hikaru Nishida - you can see her in action over ten years ago at YouTube and read how I fell in love with her. Another group I enjoyed at the time was Ribbon.
I still enjoy JPOP today - one of my favorite artists is the girl that you see in this image called "Melody" - catch her in action over at YouTube too. I dont really listen to radio anymore and most of the JPOP I learn about is through Anime OP/ED and CM on the TV.

I also used music as a method to learn Korean too and enjoyed groups like Solid, Park Mi Kyung and Clon.
