Most definitely looking forward to Heroes season three week after next. Japan gets it a few decades late so I ask my internet comrades to record it for me.
Fave character - Sylar or Peter because they absorb other powers ^^;
And Hiro's buddy Ando has powers in season three?

Rejoice Heroes fans. The new season starts September 22 in the US.

Just curious, Heroes fans living outside the US, do you watch the series on your local TV, cable or from open source?

Lastly who is your favourite character? For me I can't decide between Peter Petrelli and Hiro. ^^;

The funny thing is, many people said that i looks alike Hiro.

I'm with you Danny, can't decide between Peter Petrelli and Hiro Nakamaura... it's a tough choice but i reckon Peter because he can ultimately have any power if he focuses on it... although Hiro has a cool sense of humour... we get it really late in South Africa, so the majority of everybody goes the open source route...

    My favorites are Petrelli brothers, Hiro is pretty funny though. I download everything from emule, you can't get anything original around here anyways.

Anyway, I download the the TV rips from torrents. 720p or nothing! ^^;

But I'm getting frustrated with Heroes as they use the old cliffhangers followed by anti-climax tactics waaaaay too much. They build up to some awesome situations... then nothing happens! All the time!

    Season 2 ended so suddenly. The black girl was stuck in a burning house and from the looks of things, they havent continued this story in season 3, but I hope I am wrong. SPOILER: And why the hell does Hiro open the safe? Uncharacteristic of him. Ando will rock ass and as others have commented, this series may lose its edge after a short while in a never ending ever confusing mix of time arcs.
    SPOILER: Peter and Sylar are brothers!!!!! What the F***!!!!! That makes sense considering they have the same powers.

About time too! :) Season 1 was just awesome, but season 2 was a hit and a miss, the new characters weren't all that...

I always download the next day
can't pinpoint a favorite, since almost all charas from S1 were pretty cool. I really liked the painter guy. (his paintings that is...) badguys can't get more evil than Sylar if you ask me :D

I like the villain character too, Sylar. If it was someone with power, it'd be between Hiro and Sylar (Gabriel).

I usually watch it on TV right away after work. I always hope to finish work on time so I can watch it right away. If not I just watch the recording.

My fave is Hiro, but second fave is Matt (the mind reader).

Wait... from the looks of this picture, it looks like Ando, Hiro's friend, is going to get powers too??

  Oh, my favorite character is Peter Petrelli - c'mon - he can have ANYONE's powers and doesn't need to kill them like Sylar.
  
  (One of my favorourite comic characters ever, albeit a bit of a low-profile one, is TaskMaster - he can learn any physical move from obvervation - kinda like he has a sharingan or something. Check out the Marvel mini-series Agent X, it's awesome.)

We can only seen Heroes in StarWorld cable channel, but they only run the new season in January :( As for my fav char I think I pick Peter.
For X-Men comparison :
1. Peter - Rogue (the difference is she must touch others to gain their powers)
2. Cheerleader girl Claire - Wolverine (except without adamantium bones and claws)
3. Matt Parkman - Professor X
4. Hiro - Nightcrawler for teleport ability (but Hiro's is better powered)
5. Nathan Petrelli - Angel
6. Niki Sanders - Collossus
7. DL Hawkins - Kitty Pride
The list can go for every other characters.

Not living in the US, for the first season I aquired it and watched it before it even aired over here. The second season I did the same but I think it aired over here when it was half way through in the US. Now I think the 3rd is airing here a few days after it airs in the US so no need to waste and HDD space.

I loved S1 (actually I have it, no Open Source) and watched S2 thanks to kind people (aka Open Source) but didn't quite enjoyed as I did with the first season. The new chars weren't that good and Hiro in old Japan started well but went downhill as the story moved. But I'm looking forward to S3, especially if it ends in this one and with lots of battles.

  S2 had major issues later on due to the writer's strike. In fact, the first half of S3 was originally supposed to be the second half of S2, but when the strike went into effect they'd only written 11 episodes, so the produces kind of jury rigged it to bring it to a sort-of conclusion. Now that that nightmare's over, S3 should be excellent.

GAH, why do they have to photoshop EVERYONE? Even the younger ones.... Hiro and Mohinder are my faves. Hiro comes first though. And Sylar looks weird with slicked back hair...

And that's how we ended up with the exceedingly abrupt, somewhat poorly written last episode of season 2. Thank god the real writers are back--the producers of the show can't write worth crap.

Man, I also can't wait for the new season. It was stupid because of the writer's strike, but it better pick up fast in the beginning. I'd have to say that either Hiro or Sylar are my favorite characters, just because they're so badass.

Currently I am abck in the US, though I don't have cable. When I was in Japan, i d/l'ed the episodes since even the official website would not let you view it internationally. Still bought the DVD's though, they were good enough to warrant it (though season 2 was hurt a lot by the writers strike).

Absolutely a big Sylar fan, because I love the way he is so so evil but very vulnerable and sweet sometimes + the hottest of the whole cast.
Good actor.

Second fave is Hiro!~

Sylar doesn't really absorbs power. He tends to understands how the brain works to use these powers and that's how he's able to use them as well.

I love Hiro and Ando's team up. heheh! Can't wait for season 3. I marathoned season 1 twice for two days. lol
