It will be 11 episodes long. And have you seen the first season of the anime? Covers the same thing as live-action did.

But but, I absolutely love Nodame Cantabile (anime and live-action). If I had to choose only one out of my favorites it would Nodame Cantabile. And yes second season has been on my watch list ever since it was announced and I have alarms waiting for the episode releases :)

i've got to ask this since i've only watched the live-action drama but is everything exactly the same in the anime version? it seems much more amusing when acted out by actual people though.

The LA version followed the anime really closely, actually. I was kind of surprised.

BTW: The opening song of the first series is one of my favourite songs. :)

Seen both the anime and the LA drama and loved them both. :) I can't wait for more of the anime series. It's easily one of my favorite shows. I spent several years in the music department of my university (as a singer, not an instrument player, though I do play an instrument also), and it reminded me a lot of that time in my life.

Aw man...once again I curse myself for self-imposed rules. ^^; I don't let myself watch series that are airing since I hate cliffhangers. Nodame Cantible was near the top of my watch-list, but now it has to be pushed to the bottom until Nodame Paris finishes. Darnit. Was looking forward to it too.

If a cliffhanger is the reason that's preventing you from watching season 1, there should be no worries, as the series finishes off very well; no cliffhangers. This Paris arc is just the natural progression afterwards.
