Site Redesign

Wanted to show you the progress of the top page redesign which you can find here. The current UI cant scale anymore to support the amount of new community features that I am planning to launch this year and thus need to revamp the whole top page and eventually the whole site.
On the left of the page you will see my posts. Community features will be in the middle and right column for sponsors. Still work in progress so some links are broken.
On the left column, you will see a "display options" select menu which you can use to hide comments. It will save a cookie so that the comments will stay hidden the next time you visit.

From your feedback on a previous poll, most of you seem to click through to a post which is why I have chosen this layout. Im thinking about having the latest post extended with a larger image and more text - let me know what you think. I do plan to keep this current layout but it will live in a different location at dannychoo.com/legacy/eng.
I've done QA on mac FF/Safari, Win FF/IE6/IE7 and as always recommend FF.
