Dell laptop regret

I am not the type to have any regrets in life. What's happened has happened and we learn from it. There is no real point from regretting anything - also a waste of productive time. BUT what the XXXX have I learnt from wasting money on buying an Inspiron 5150? OK, I have learnt that I should not buy Dell - but apart from that I have not gained anything from this lesson. I think its fates way of punishing me for doing something bad.

I got the Inspiron for my wife as a birthday present which cost about 210,000 yen - more like a booby prize than a present. I have never had the displeasure of using such a steaming pile of rabbit droppings. My wife uses it for mail, browsing, chat and a few Office applications but I have to maintain it which is using up a lot of my time (when my wife is not looking, I am going to replace it with a Mac and use the Inspiron as a door mat).
So here are a few gripes.
1.Turn on the machine and after a few minutes the fan would kick in and start spinning at top velocity - it sounds like its going to take off or something - loud is an understatement. This, ladies and gentlemen is without having any applications running - its just sitting there, its not as if it is rendering a 510MB 3D image.
2. In my 10+ years of computing, I have never seen such a huge and heavy adaptor for a laptop - they should have included in the Inspiron description"includes weapon" - throw it at anybody and you will knock them out.
3.The laptop itself weight about 50 kilo tons. Why on earth did they make a laptop (which is supposed to be portable) to be so heavy - they must have put lead weights inside or something.

So now you know - if you ended up getting one of these - its because fate is punishing you for something bad that you have done. GRRRRRRR.
