I'd do it if I had a garage to keep the car in during the modification. I'd repaint my car, which is suffering from old age (it's going "gray" [primer showing]), and put my web comic's main character there (maybe).

Would I convert my car to an Itasha? Heck yeah! I wouldn't feel reluctant nor ashamed to drive an Itasha. Its got to be one of the coolest ways to express one's otakuness, hehehe! ^_^

I feel that the true essence of otaku-ism is found in Japan, so Itasha is more than okay there. But in other countries, it would leave a lot of people spooked and bewildered as older generations are unfamiliar with anime.

I find it great to express your tastes to the public and that some stickers can change your car completely!
At worst, every taste is in nature, and there are many eroge fanatics in this world, so itasha should be fine in comparison...

If I had a "spare" car I'll definitely go for it lol. I would like to apply more "discrete" stickers to my car though... Like a A.E.U.G. or Zeon logo car sticker. Never found a place that sells that kind of stickers for cars anyway. Any info is highly appreciated ^^

Considering how big is the anime industry, maybe advertisers could start using cars as the advertising support. That would be pretty interesting.

I asked at a few auto places and custom vinyls are expensive! i only i could find some vinyl to print my own on the school printer... I love that Nanoha car.

I was imagining how would be a Gundam Car Style, or may an Eva Car style. You can also add nice stuff on it (maybe some machine guns and nice wings =P)

if its the stickers that made cars look more mecha or like planes then HELL YES i would make it into a itasha

creepy.... But then again, it nearly reminds me of stuff some guys in my unit try to pull off when I see 56th Stryker stickers everywhere. If they touch my car, then they will be smoked until I'm tired of watching them puke.

I would put Ichigo from Bleach on my whip.

I was walking around Akihabara this evening and seen a couple of cars (180SX, Subaru Impreza, Honda Civic Hatchback and a Silvia) lined up in front of Curry Kitchen all with these stickers on them.
