Motorola V3 VS Sanyo A1303SA

Motorola V3 VS Sanyo A1303SA" title=">Motorola V3 VS Sanyo A1303SA" >
I mentioned the Motorola V3 in a previous post and I thought I would babble on about it a bit more. I used to think Japanese phones were the tops but after owning this V3 for a while I am beginning to think differently. For a start, my AU phone which is my main phone in Japan can only work in certain countries - US, Korea, China amongst the ones which I visit regularly. But because I cant remove the sim card (not even sure if there is one inside) I cant get a local chip and pay local call fees - I have to end up paying Japanese international rates. The V3 on the other hand gives me the freedom to swap sim cards at will and pay local call rates - shame it does not work in Japan - real shame as I would have loved to be able to continue to use it over here. Its very thin and you can stick it in your back trouser pocket and not notice its there.
Has bluetooth built in and works like a charm with my powerbook - I can browse folders inside the V3, delete and add files too. The camera however is shite - just as bad as the one on my AU. The screen quality is not as good as the AU either. A USB wire is supplied which you can charge the phone with. All in all a rather nice phone.
I do notice that the phones in the UK seem to look better every time I go back - when I left 5 years ago, phones looked like bricks - weighed like them too. Useful I suppose - you could throw it at a mugger (yep - loads in London) and knock them unconscious.
If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

That Motorola is like from a year ago here in Mexico -_-. i like it too, and is so so hackable, you can mess up a lot with the OS and even put a NES emulator in there, nice huh?
Training for kicking ass
So which country has more advanced locally sold cellular phones, the USA or Japan?
