Mirei Figure
Shunya Yamashita does some rather nice artwork. A Sera-chan figure based on his works was released a while ago. While I didnt really like that figure too much, this figure of Mirei just had to be pre-ordered!
Mirei retails at 7,350 yen but I got mines for 5,000 yen using my Rakuten points ^^. For some reason, this release of Mirei is only being sold exclusively by Kotobukiya at their Rakuten shop. Not sure if HOBBYSTOCK or AMIAMI are going to get her in stock. Those living outside Japan may pay through the ear as sellers will probably buy from Kotobukya at retail price and flog it to you with a little margin on top.
Or you can wait for the review when she comes out in April to she if you think shes worth ordering.
BTW, Mirei is also available with blonde hair from the Kotobukiya's Osaka branch...
BTW2, The otaku community uses the word "Cast off" (キャストオフ) to describe when items of clothing can be removed from figures. This expression comes from kamen Raider Kabuto where the heros could say "Cast off!" just before their outer armor explodes off. So in this case I would say...
I'm not sure if there is any Cast off feature for Mirei ^^;
Just checked in some code changes. Members can now save their "anime, games, figure and learn" bits n pieces in their profile. When you go to edit your profile for the first time after these changes, your previous values of "anime, games, figure and learn" will show up as blank on the edit page - fill them in again and they will be saved in the DB until you decide to change them. Thanks to AndyH for that suggestion. If you have any suggestions re userbility etc - please let me know. I also fixed some bugs for fields which would dissapear - cookie problem.
Also, If you find yourself waiting a wee bit after posting a comment, its because some cache server side is being flushed. Will find a way to make it better.
