C71 - Enterprise booths
Took me ages just to sort out the photos! Going to separate the Comike 71 coverage into a few posts...
- C71 - Enterprise booths (Today)
- C71 - Doujinshi (Tomorrow)
- C71 - Crowds (Day after tomorrow)
The queue just to get in to Comike must have went around Tokyo Big Site several times. Apparently, It takes people at the end of the queue a few hours to get in after the doors open. Was handed my press kit after waiting about 10 mins ( quite a few press folks on the day ) and went straight in to find something that resembled an incredibly busy airport. I dont think I've ever seen so many people at Big Site like this before.
So far I've brought you coverage of Cosplay, Anime, Games, Figures, Idols and this report completes the missing piece of mainstream Otaku culture in Japan - Doujinshi and Eroge. Many of you will go "Coolio! Me want!" whilst some of you may go "OMGWTF?!"
"Comike" is a term short for "Comic Market" and is *mainly* made up of anime oriented erotic games and magazines. Today we are going to look at the Enterprise booths - the big companies who are there to show you what new adult PC games they have for you to spend your money on.
This report is being brought to you by Akihabara News and dannychoo.com
The only thing I bought was a clock of Miyako Miyamura from the PC game ef - a fairy tale of two which cost 600 yen. The rest I received from folk who I knew including Amazi-san, Yoshimu-san and Tesuta Chubou-san.

Not too sure what this is but Movida Ent Inc was printed on the bottom.

Definitely, I would like to attend under a press pass. I can't remember if anyone has asked you before about getting press passes in Japan, forgive me if you have answered this question before. Then again, I you and Daimaou-san where together, so you where under a press pass for Akihabatanews.com.

Plus here the government and parent activists are too focused on protecting the "children" even though they too have access to porn on a daily basis. Some parents are just too naive.

Danny, is the eroge industry in japan really that big? Based on the pictures you've posted it seems that they've really put in a lot of money on these things. The quality from the looks of it is top notch. Another reason for me to get my foot into japan in the near future. :D

Hentai games are not worth the money IMO. In the end most people will only buy it for the sex CG, so its better to wait for a CG rip. You won't be wasting money then.
I actually do like the art in those games. hehehe...

Wow...so many anime events, but where i live...actually they made just 1 time. Not muh things to see expct buy figures, goods and stuffs. I hope one day (during vacations) i can go into Japan and go see much much more anime events
