Code Geass

Code Geass has been on air for just over two months now but I'm sure you can get previous episodes from yer trusty BT site. You can also get new episodes for free at Biglobe without subtitles.
The Britanian Empire thought that it should do what all empires do best and invade Japan with their legion of mechas called Nightmare Frames. "Japan" was too difficult to pronounce so they named it "11" and refer to the Japanese as "11's".
A Britanian called Lelouch is tired of all these shenanigans and wants an end to all of this. He chances upon a girl called C.C. who endows him with a power that just may help him...
The animation quality is top notch and I hope that it stays that way as I have noticed that the quality of many anime series tend to drop after the first 10 episodes. This is most likely due to cost reasons - the first batch are high quality and get the punters in - once they are hooked then serve them a pile of cold veal - they wouldn't mind because they are already hooked.
The music is gorgeous with what sounds like orchestral tracks. While many anime have dull moments in between, Geass is interesting to keep you glued to the screen for the whole 23 mins or so per episode.
The mechas look cool and if you liked Eureka Seven then Im sure you'll like these machines - they kinda look similar in design. Have not looked into the background of the production team but Code Geass and Eureka feel similar.
One of the things that makes this anime enjoyable to watch is the amount of cute girlies in it. Shirley Fenete, Millay Ashford, Kallen Stadtfeld and C.C are all most cutesome. I do prefer Kallen with her hair down though.
