Some of the cutest doujins of Haruhi that I've laid my mince pies on - more from the Harukyon series at Fakku.
Question: is black/white images good enough for your daily okazu or are you a color person only?
When I was a wee lad, all I had were the black n white photos of the page 3 girls in the Sun newspaper ^^;

"Okazu" is a colloquial term meaning "stuff you look at while taking care of your health."
So for example you can say "Sebun erebun de okazu kattekuru" [セブンエレブンでおかず買ってくる] meaning "I'm going to 7/11 to get some health material."

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

    I prefer colour. However black & white is not a no-no either.

    The left one looks a bit too timid to be Haruhi.

    Somehow I was taught in english class about the "page 3 girls" in The Sun.

    I think I've got almost every volume of this series so far, lacking vol 1, 3 and 6. Doesn't matter as Fakku fills up the remaining gaps for me. xD Haruhi is just so moe while performing all sorts of "healthcare action" with Kyon.

    Unfortunately, this doujin circle concentrates on HaruKyon so much that it sort of neglects Mikuru and Yuki, let alone Tsuruya-san, Asakura, Kyon's sister and other cute girls.

    I prefer manga in general to be in black and white. It stems from those random colorings by people who aren't skilled at it making the art look bad.

    While color kinda makes it better (sorta gives it more "detailed"), I'm alright w/ B&W since that's what manga is usually.

    I tend to usually look for a translation just so I know what's going on.

    Already tested for health-care by me, recommended ;D

    I like seeing some in color (Mogudan's great Ayanami series for example), Im perfectly alright with normal B/W. Many works would look worse in color I'm sure, it tends to drown out the shading present in B/W.
