I had an invite for Tuesdays Miyazawa Model Fair but couldn’t go because of work (darn work!) but the good news is that Monpuchi went and you can read his photo coverage at his site.

The good news is that I also got invited to the up n coming BFC (Bishoujo Figure Convention) and if you are in Tokyo on the 3rd of December then you may want to get your booty along too.
From the title you can probably guess that its an event dedicated to Bishoujo figures! A hall full of figures – enough to make you dizzy and give you a nose bleed at the same time.
The list of booths include Goodsmile, Kotobukiya. Many of these companies are also going to have event exclusive figures - you can see some of them at the official BFC site here - here is a BFC exclusive by Yujin.

The event is being held in Daita-ku from 10am through 4pm and costs 1200 yen to get in. If you are younger than or good at pretending to be ten years old then you get in for free.

Ah, forgot to mention that you can see a bit of what last years event looked like at Akibablog.

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.
