Your First Gundam

I can't remember no more. Memory serves me right It was a 1/100 Zeta from way back in the late 80's or early 90's

my first gundam was a HG 1/144 RX-78-2

mine was MG god gundam, the price was cheap for a master grade

My first would be the V2 Gundam but my dad help me build it back then because I was only like 4 :P

My first MS was a 1/100 AMX-014 Doven Wolf...my first Gundam was the 1/100 FA-010S Full Armor Enhanced ZZ Gundam... ^_^

Mine was Gundam Airmaster, and boy oh boy he's pretty much resting in pieces somewhere in my Gundam Junkyard.

Mine was 1/144 Heavy-Arms (Custom) Kai Endless Waltz version at the age of 16 or 17 I can't remember. 1st MS is the Strike Freedom Full Burst mode which I haven't started yet, 'cause I need to buy tools for it....

My first model wasn't even a Gundam. It was a pirated Eyezack made by Dragon. made it withe the glue it came with, which became brown over time. Ah, memories.

the MG Strike Freedom Full Burst was my first model, as a gift actually. I was so impressed with the result that then I decided to get more models.

Hmmm it was either a 1/144 Gundam Double X or a 1/144 Mercurius back in the 90s

My first Gundam was HG Wing Gundam custom from Gundam W Endless Waltz.

My first one was a 1/144 shenlong, second would be a 1/100 deathsythe, then a 1/100 deatsythe hell then after that i cant remember...

Mine was a 1/144 Gundam Virsago and Gundam X, they were crappy.

A 1/100 Providence Gundam, age 18. I only really got into Gundam as a whole this year, at 18, so I'm late, as usual, for everything. Thankfully, 5 kits after, I'm feeling fine.

Danny Thanks for the Hijack. ^^ I remmeber my first GFF was the cosmic region strike freedom, followed by Destiny Gundam. I remember I made the eye slits on the destiny wider after reading your old post. ^^

First gundam was MSIA Wing Gundam Zero and Epyon. First kit was HG 1/144 Wing Gundam Zero. First Master Grade was Aile Strike Gundam.

Mine was MG GP01 too^^

The first kit I actually made was 1/144 GP03S in 2001 or 2002. My first painted kit was the HG 1/100 Sword Impulse like 4 months ago.

remembered my 1st model was 1/144 rx-78 gundam needed glue to stick it together plus no color as in it was plain white lol!

My first Gundam was the 1/100 Gundam Astray Blue Frame 2nd L, followed by the 1/100 MG Wing Gundam Zero Endless Waltz Ver.

I remember the first one being the 1/100 ZZ gundam (really old). I was really young back then, so I worked on it with my dad who was also into gundams

My first Gundam was a HG 1/100 RX-78-2, I bought it for roughly 40 bucks CAD in 2000. Since then I picked up all the 1/144 Gundam Wings models which are now all in some box, the 5 1/100 HG GW EW Gunadams which are all damaged in one way or another and anything a bunch of Seed 1/100 HG. I still have 3 to build but I need to find a place for them.

1/100 HG Deathscythe, back during my first year of high school (2001).

Not sure if this counts, but the only Gundam esque model I've ever built is the Guren Nishiki from Code Geass. Still have yet to get into Gundam. :)

My first Gundam was the MG 1/100 Rx-79(G) EZ-8, which is from Gundam: The 8th MS Team, which I've had for the better part of 5 years now, I think. I honestly didn't do a very good job on building it, but I still have it standing right next to my computer monitor.

i can't seems to remember clearly but i think my first gudnam was 1/144 Dragon Gundam when i was a little boy.

the one that ignited my passion for modeling was strike freedom gundam though.

My first one, officially, was the MG RX-78-2 GP01 fb Zephyranthes.

Unofficially (i.e. my actual first one but should be forgotten) it was the original MG Zeta gundam. God knows how I managed to keep up with the hobby after that monstrocity.

Mine was a crappy FG Sandrock Gundam. I still have him on my desk, peeling stickers and all.

My first Gundam was Dragon Gundam when it was airing on cartoon network. I've been thinking of buying a new one since I probably destroyed it as a child.

I ordered my first Gundam, a HGUC RX-121-1 GUNDAM TR-1 [HAZEL CUSTOM], one week ago. :)

My first Gundam was the metallic MG GP01Fb. I think I bought it about 6 or 6 years ago coz it was on sale. After then I got hooked.

My first Gundam was the Burning Gundam. It was just one of those cheap plastic ones though...

My first Gundam was the High Grade Epyon back in 2000. It was my first model kit I built on my own, so by accident I cut all the parts from the tree before I put it together and threw the tree out. Was a bit of a challenge making my first kit with no idea what part is what ^^I

1/144 Wing Gundam. 1/144 Gundam Wing kits were terrible.

Mines Death-scythe gundam but only it's SD version. Boy, I really miss the good times.... ^_^

my first one is 1/144 GINN Insurgent Type, since then gunpla mine gunpla stockpile go up to 30 kits. BTW, 90% is zeon type. Sieg Zeon!!!!

My first kit was bought only this year! A very simple HG 1/100 scale Char's Gelgoog!! (The red one thats all red, not grey/black bits in the middle etc.(There are pics of it on my blog))

my very first model wow it was a Nu gundam but after a few years passed hurricane Katrina came i was in the US and my Nu got badly damage lost a lot of parts but i still got it

I think my very first gundam was a diorama of Gundam vs zaku & char's z'gok set.
It was a really old kit, you get a cave base plate that have a holder for the background. And that time.... I was really disappointed because I can't pose the gundams as good as the on on the box

My first "Gundam" would have been a knock-off Transformer which stole the Gundam name... found at Woolworths (in Canada they were called Woolco stores; they don't exist here anymore). I believe it was Frenzy and Lazerbeak knock-offs.
My first authentic Gundam was an SD kit of some kind because those were cheap enough that my aunts or uncles were send me them. I don't know which it was.
My first "proper" Gundam kit was a Gundam V2 from Victory. I bought it with my own spending money while on a family trip to Hong Kong and one of the ones from Silhouette Formula. Back then I wasn't a fan of the actual franchise, I just really liked the mecha designs.
It would be a few years later when I would discover Internet, learn about the Gundam saga(s) and start buying 1/100 scale HG kits from Gundam W and Gundam X. Imagine my amusement when still years later, anime fandom would bring Gundam to North America... starting with, you guessed it, Gundam Wing.

First one was 1:100 Kyrios Gundam from Gundam 00. Yeah, got into Gundam late, only when I started watching 00. I was more into Macross, and I have quite a few Macross transformable toys. I only started getting more into Gundam once I watched SEED and SEED DESTINY after I randomly downloaded SEED after getting interested with a few eps of 00. In fact I didn't expect much from SEED and only really watched it because I was on a work trip to the Gold Coast at the time and didn't feel like going to the beach everyday :P.

Now I have 17 Gundam Models, all of them painted and detailed except for poor Kyrios :P

MSZ-006 Zeta back in 1996, I think it was one of the earlier MG releases as the articulation wasn't great and it looked really plastic. By the way, I like your models, got that nice flat finish.

closest thing to my first (and only) Gundam is a 1/144 Tomliat which would have been something like 15 years ago now.

I can't remember exactly, but I know it wasn't a Federation mobile suit. And what's funny is that I purchased one (and assembled it) before I ever saw my first episode from any Gundam series. I most likely bought my first kit while I was scoping out re-issues of some classic Macross kits.

My first Gundam was a 1/144th gundam wing HG model kit, I still have it at my parents house sitting on my entertainment center, I've painted a good deal of it, but I pretty much learned how to paint on that one, but it's still awesome looking.

Mine was, or rather is a MG Gundam Unicorn. Worst Choice for a First Time Gunpla since painting and even Coating had to be done with every pice seperatly thanks to the scattered transparent-ish parts everywhere, and with my not yet existing painting skills it turned out really bad :( - prolly gonna redo this one after i get some more practice

mine was a MG but i dont remember which gundam. and i go it lik at the age between 7-9. my dad was the one who built it tho

first was 1/144 NG Epyon. hahaha. oh man. first painted was 1/144 Exia. Didn't go the way i want though T_T

Mine was a Zaku III. My first anime model was the MARSHY DOG from VOTOMS way back in 1985, quickly followed by the PAC 48 from DORVACK.

First ever was a mg god gundam given to me as a gift by a relative a few years ago. never really had any interest in Gundam then so I built it and kinda forgot about it. its sitting somewhere in storage back in the Philippines cursing me with all its godly fingers.
First Gundam that I actually bought with my own money and built (with passion) would be the MG MSZ-006C1.
First I one painted and given real love (decals, details and crap) would be MG RX-78-5

My first Gundam ever was a HG Deathscythe. I had a lot of fun building it.

My first MG was the Deathscythe Hell, which is still my all time FAVORITE Gundam. It's 23 different shades of cool.

Mines was...HG 1/144 Wing Gundam [Original] Back then I was still into Lego and Gundams were like advanced Legos. xD

1/144 Wing Zero from Gundam Wing when I was 7 or 8. My first "official" kit that I built independently was.... erm.... can't remember. I enjoyed building my Tallgeese III, though.

i remember my first Gundam model is the first version of Guncannon and Z'Gok I first brought. I remember i love Z'Gok the most because its the nice one.

Verde Buster Gundam. (SD And 1/144) i was working on 1/144, got stuck built SD all the way then finished 1/144.

Mine was 1/144 Wing gundam. But my brother was the first to have a gundam, he had those clear super deformed gundams.

My first gundam was a 1/144 HG Gundam Air Master Burst(the blue one) but I forgot where I bought that it, I think its somewhere in Metro Manila. But my first gundam was murdered by my little brother. It was chop into tiny pieces....the pain!!..that deep frying pain!!..*sob*

My first Gundam was the 1/100 Airmaster Burst from Gundam X. My dad built it for me cos I was 3. I didn't even know what a Gundam was back then and when I saw it I thought it looked really cool. From then I fell in love with Gundam. Then my dad got the 1/100 Gundam Wing Zero. Or was it 1/60? Anyway I don't remember but my dad built that aswell. I played with it a lot, and then somehow it went MIA. The only thing that remained was the shield. Oh, those sad memories. The first Gundam I built was the MG 1/100 GP03S Gundam. It looked really cool. It's funny how a few of you have Airmasters as well.

Wow i remember my first gundam. Gundam Deathscythe 1/144. I was 13, of course I didn't know what Gundam was. I just bought it put it together, rather unprofessionally, came out pretty wimpy.

Mine was a HG 1/100 Strike Aile. I bought it for 10 euros (about 7.5$) in a convention and I remember the thrill it was when i was riding the train back to home.

Mine was a MG ZakuIIJ. It cost me sixty bucks. My local hobby stores are rather expensive.

My first Bandai kits i ever brought is first 1/144 MSM-07S Z`Gok and RX-77 Gun Cannon back in year 1989 I believe. I am quite enjoying that time using super glue to assemble it because it get lose easily.

all the HG seed zakus... bought all in one go.

a 1/100 gundam dynames. love it and have overhauled it recently with metallic paint.

Mine was a NG NT-1. It's the first one I actually painted completely.

my first... hmm it was prolly a Rx-178 Titan MK2 MG that my sister gotten for me when i was prolly 9 or so. took me like 3 hours to build it. I havent painted my gunplas yet but ive been wanting to get a air brush to paint my 1/100 death scythe white with some black linings and some battle scars.(kinda seems like the wing zero custom wings but i would like to see it with that instead XD)
