Men in Tights

There has been a spate of marketing activities in Japan revolving around men running around in tights for products you know well… #w#1,2,Akibaman#w# Nike have released their Sentai characters “Akibaman” in something that could be the start of a series of Sentai ads. NikeCosplay is the name of the video that you can watch at YouTube. If you love Sentai series then you’ll love it. Its great to see Nike doing refreshing marketing stuff like this.

The marketing folks at Kadokawa decided to dress up some blokes in tights and got them to walk around Akiba. Personally I think that ladies in tights would have attracted more attention - or how about a ton of Pururin that appeared in the anime?

You know, I used to think that Microsoft was run by borgs in suits but I can tell you that this place is far from being the conservative boring image that one may have of MS.
I spent over three years at Amazon and while we did have our fair share of fun n games, we “fun n games” harder at Microsoft – and I’ve only been here for just over half a year to say that.
BTW, Ive mentioned the word Sentai a few times – folks who think that it may be the name of washing power, have a look at the Wikipedia description.
