Hmmm.... the raunchiest shop I've ever been in is Ann Summers (famous UK sex/toy shop) I was with friends in Norwich after getting outfits for our last day, and we all went in for a laugh(boys and girls)
I dunno if I'd go in the adult 3D girl shops.... but I'd definately go into the adult 2D girl shops! You couldn't stop me if you tried!!!

I actually did NOT visit one of these when I went to Japan, to busy looking for soaplands.

I accidentally walked into one in Ikebukuro in late 2003, I was looking for a place where I could watch a bunch of DVDs I had bought in Shibuya and mistakenly thought the store was a normal video rental place where one was given a room to watch the videos. I ended up staying for 5~ hours =) The free condoms and the anime-themed sponges they gave out amused me, wish I'd kept them as souvenirs :/

Didn't go to one as my friend in Japan is female. If I happen to spot one on my own I'd go in for a quick browse. I found it hilarious how theres usually a big line of guys openly "reading" them in the magazine isle at 7-11 in Japan.

I searched pretty much every single eroge store I could find in Akihabara looking for a copy of Clannad FV. Finally found one a couple days before I had to leave.

So .. yes :P

I have not been to Japan and they do not have whole stores dedicated to 3D girls here. I would absolutely walk in and browse and probably walk out with some health care material ^_^

I don't think I would. I usually like to enjoy the more unique aspects of a location I visit. Though there isn't a store like this where I live, the internet is packed with it.

Yea we went into one while we were there, and it really was an experience. They even have tvs playing the videos so you can get an idea of whats on the dvd.
Didn't end up buying anything, but yea it was an experience nonetheless.

I have,when I was in Akihabara I just walked aroung going into all the store, ero, game,etc. It was a fun night. I was in this one store,in the idol/AV section and they had a guest star Anna Kanzaki, they gave away some of her clothes, I didnt buy a ticket for the event so I couldn't win anything.

3D ero stuff? Never, its 2D for me!!

I probably would not walk into such a shop, kinda embarrassing. I can just imagine the women and children looking at me as I enter such a store.... This is why the internet exists!

unfortunately I haven't been to japan yet, but I've been in a number of them around here. I never really buy anything though because you can get it all for free online.

In the US, port shops are REALLY creepy and have ugly cheap women pron, not like Japan where they are really hot and beautiful.

The wife and I went into the one about a block away from Akihabara Station just out of curiosity. Quite a bit different then the one's over here in the US. :)

When I was in Japan, I went in 2D ones... didn't see exclusive 3D ones though.

Well, I was in a magazine shop with lots of different stuff, including ero 3D. But it had lots of non-ero stuff too, so I guess it doesn't count.

But I'd have no problem going on those.

In my region, I don't think there are lots of specialized 3D ero magazine stores... mainly because there isn't enough ero magazines publishings to fill a store around here.

But I've been in ero shops that sell lots of different things... like inflatable dolls and stuff. Not much interested in those, so I just went in out of curiosity.

If they had tengas, dakimakuras and candy girls here, I'd be interested though. :P

I can't work up the courage to walk into an Adult Mart, here in the states; but while I was in Japan half the time I just stumbled into adult stores by accident.

No shops like that around my way, but i got no probs going into them or similar shops.

I've been in some. There are some girl-friendly ones here, meaning that they are classier and look cleaner.

I visited some of these shops. I mean, those shops are EVERYWHERE in Akihabara. There's no way you visit Akiba and walk NOT (accidentally) into one of these shops ^_^

Definately worth a browse around, especially when those kind of shops are hard to come by where I live. Plus theres no shame for me in a country where tentacle raep is prevolent.

Haven't been to Japan yet so I haven't but I've been to those here in my area. I've even walked into those with my girlfriend with me. When I do visit Japan, I'll probably stop by one of those to check it out.

We have three of these type shops in my area. One is privately owned adult video with the windows covered up. The second looks is next to the freeway (also adult video with windows covered up). The third is in the middle of town in what looks like a walmart with no windows. I think its called "Castle" (not sure why). I think they sell videos, "toys", etc. Never been in any of them.

Personally, I wouldn't mind walking in there.

I've walked into a number of those stores just to check out. They're everywhere! How could you not go in when everywhere you go there's at least one somewhere that catches the eye. When in Japan, right? lol

Have never been in one in Japan, I was like 16 when I was there last and not only that I don't recall seeing many, if at all. We have 3 or 4 around here, however, and my best friend (who is female) and I visit them once in a while. We're both wholesome pervs.

Have not had the chance to walk into one. I would like to walk in one, but with sunglasses, a hat, and a long coat. I seen some of those around town, but they are not that inviting in the first place.

unfortunately, we don't have a store that sells exclusively ero stuff. if a store do carry those, they are usually concealed and stashed at the backroom and you'll have to ask for it. it sucks really.

Havent been to japan, but when i do go there, its better to walk in, see and enjoy once or twice than to have that "i should have gone there feeling". My country doesn't allow such shops to exist here. though some shops do import such books on the sly.

Unfortunately shops like that are rare here and I have yet to see one. When I do come across one, I'll probably go in as long as I have friends to go in with me.

well... i went in one these when i came to japan... back there i really not talk and read japanese very well so i looked to that anime picture in the sign of the shop, and when i entered here, for the first look its a very normal shop whit used mangas and dvds, except from the little entrance in the middle of the case books... thats there the real shop was!

i went into a porn shop when i was in hong kong, wanted to buy a poster but the guy didnt understand me

man i would love to have a job as a store clerk at that shop. imagine the things i can do after closing shop. ('~')

I have absolutely no qualms about going into such a shop, unlike here in Australia, where they make it seem like the worst crime possible, just through the many corners you have to turn before you enter (so absolutely nothing untoward can be seen from the street). And then all they sell is toys... And about 90% of them are for women, whereas in a japanese equivalent shop, it'd be 50/50 if not in favour of the guys... I miss being able to get decent dolphin waxing equipment in this country...

i've been in that kind of place in japan. In Italy it's differnt that shops are more saddy, squalid, and this is for christian culture that obscure sex and all the thing that are in relation with sex

I went into Adult Shop Ms with a friend in Akihabara a few years ago. Very strange. One of the assistants was an obvious cross dresser. The attitude to such stores in Japan is relaxed compared with (say) the UK and of sourse far more imaginative.

I have been in a few in Japan (mostly Tokyo areas), and have actually bought a couple of things (that I'm quite happy with). When you get passed the initial embarrassment of going into one, afterward it's no big deal at all. I even talked to the cashiers and employees about a couple of things. (Oh yeah, I speak a little Nihongo.) Then I went passed a girl a few years older than me after leaving and she didn't even take notice.

It seems that most people here would go in just for a laugh and go back out, but I was in there for a good half our or more in each seriously looking at all that they had. The main problem is that there's just so much of it that to me it's actually more overwhelming than sexy. Most stores I went into had scrammed shelves and small aisles so it was impossible to just pick a spot and choose. Plus, most of the other guys were regular working men more worried about what they were going to get. I'm guessing the creepy guys stay at home and order off the internet. Saw a woman in one of the shops briefly as well.

It is rather difficult to control one's dolphin when looking at all that, but most of the time I kept mine in check. >_<

In State College there weren't too many shops like that unless you counted The Endzone strip club. But there are a few around my home town. I must say, some of the most interesting people work in those shops.

I'm sure that adult shops in Japan are unique, like in no other country. I've seen the photo-report of an adult toys exhibition- it was an amazing fest of the kinkiest and weirdest stuff anyone could imagine! So, I'd like to have at least one of the similar shops in my country- it would be the funniest place to waste the time.

used to have an adult dvd shop in my town but ti went out of business. The guy there was able to special order me some stuff that I liked.
Also there are some sex toy stores; one in particular is next to Hooter bar and grill.

Many years ago, I was walking in a mall that sells mostly computer parts.
There would be a few pron stores here and there.
I was walking pass one of the stores when the person in charge of the store invite me in.
I told him I was under age. (I was 16 at the time, legal age is 18) He told me that's fine.

Admittedly I haven't but was tempted to one time in New Zealand.

If they only sold Japanese and Korean goodies!!!!!!!! ^_______^
