Still not out in Japan but will be at the end of the month - Hancock.

I heard mixed reviews from members in puchi blurbs - worth seeing or wait for DVD?

The Joker really scared me, Heath Ledgers acting was of the scale from 1 to 10. I'd give him a 1000000. I absorb as much of his acting during the film. I would like to say the Dark Knight kept me on the edge of my seat, eating my popcorn really fast, and I felt the film could have ended in three separate occasion!

If you are going to see this expecting an awesome action movie, it is not worth seeing in theaters, but if you are going to see it as a comedy with action included, then by all means go see it in theaters. Saw it with a few friends and we all agreed storywise it wasn't the greatest, but it was good for a lot of laughs.

I have to agree with you on the fact that it is a action comedy instead of an action movie. I believe its good to see in theater just for the special effects alone.

They took an interesting turn with the superhero movie genre. On the whole, it's not bad, but if you were spoilt by Iron Man or Spiderman, then I think it's best to give this a miss.

For me, I only get the dvd of movies I really enjoyed, like Ong Bak or Lord of the Rings.

I saw it the day it came out with my best friend that came in from out of town, his girl and some other friends, and we had a debacle meeting at the theater so we had to sit in like the 3rd row from the front. During the high-motion scenes like flying or whatnot, I got extremely motion sick, cold sweat, nausea, clammy hands. ^^; The movie itself was pretty good, it got a little convoluted toward the end (not gonna reveal or spoil anything), but I tend to agree with the majority of people here. It didn't live up to the mega amount of hype given to it, but all in all it was a good movie that deserves a rental.

Wait for DVD in case of an extended cut. This project went through so many rewrites and re-edits and had so much studio-interference, the final movie was nowhere near as good as it could have been... which is unfortunate, but it's a pretty cool story... just seems... unfinished.

Hancock really surprized me. I wasn't expecting much, but it came out as a nice movie to watch.
Dunno if it's really necessary to go to the movies to watch too... as lots of people said, it's more of a comedy with some action than an action movie with some comedy.

But it all depends on what is your concept of going to the movies to watch it.

Some people goes to the movie to watch special effects...
I myself like to go to the movies to go with the audience's reactions... and in that sense, it's really interesting to go watch Hancock, because of all the laughs.

But do watch it Danny, I'm pretty shure you'll have some good laughs.
