McDonalds Virus

Wherever in the world you go you bet you can find some McDonalds and Japan is no exception. We do get stuff that you probably don’t get where you are. Teriyaki Burgers, Fries with a sprinkle of Seaweed seasoning, the occasional prawn dumpling and how about a batch of viruses?

McDonalds recently had a “win an MP3 player” thingy like the ones you see here. The problem with these MP3 players was that when you attach them to your PC, Trojan horses, Worms and Spyware was also installed at the same time. You can see signs in McDonalds in their attempt to recall all units…

BTW2, because the Japanese generally pronounce “L” and “R” in a similar fashion, when you hear the tagline “I’m Lovin it” in commercials, it sounds like “I’m Rubbing it”… Remember folks, you don’t need to tell others when you are rubbing it. Keep it to yerself.
