What better way to start your weekend than to read some of my hate mail - or hate "comments"...

i don't care what you do danny, whether you decide to waste your time & money on toys, degrading female figurines, and japanese idols... the question that i find myself constantly asking, is: how does your wife feel about all of this? with your penchant for scantily clad women, does she ever feel inadequate or does she ever wonder whether she's good enough? why else would you spend time on such things? i don't know how your marital relationship is, whether your wife accepts these things in silence or you have a mutual understanding (you do your thing she does hers) - whatever the state of your relationship is in - i find it somewhat upsetting. you may not be cheating on your wife physically, but can she be certain that if someone better (no matter how attractive your wife may be- there is always better) came along - you wouldn't mess up your relationship with your wife? or is it all about "the physical" and emotionally- your wife takes centre stage- because i don't really buy that... anyway, as a fellow human being who cares (about your wife's well-being), i just wanted to get you to think about these things and perhaps reconsider. if your relationship is perfect, and your wife has no beefs, then disregard what i said. i, personally, wouldn't want this kind of relationship for myself.
This is fantastic! I have people wanting to manage my money, website, hobbies and interests and now I have somebody who wants to manage my marriage! Im flattered. All I need now are some people to come out and offer me advice about my career and parents too. Maybe I should rename this category to "lurve mail/comments" or something.
The above comment was left under this post by a "concerned". Anyway, a few personal messages for "concerned" from me...

  1. My wife read your comments (shes an avid reader ^o^) and said you've got too much time on your hands worrying about her (ouch!) "暇過ぎ"だって。
  2. Its obvious that you have spent much time on my blog and wonder why you keep coming back when I continue to upset you?
  3. I am touched my your kind thoughts for being concerned about my marriage but I suggest that you spend less time worrying about somebody who upsets/agitates you and start to invest some of *your* time thinking about *your* own life instead. You must have goals and destinations in life. Life is short - too short to be wasted on somebody as low as me. There is obviously nothing positive that I can contribute to your life. Screw Danny! Start living your own life instead of others - advice from a "fellow human being".
  4. Please use line breaks when you compose mail or messages - its makes it easier to read.
You want more? lol

Man Danny Choo you are a dumass. Fu*king Gook all you care about is money youre just like all the other chinese commies in the world. I cant believe people actually except a foreigner like you in Japan! First of all youre from England second youre not even Japanese! Youre just some asian wannabe that wants to be Japanese because your own chinese heritage sucks so much ass.
That one was also left under the same post. So, According to this person who calls him/herself "n*gga", I'm not allowed to care about money, not allowed to be in Japan and am a F*cking gook because I come from a Chinese background. Hmmm I see. Looks like we have another person spending too much of their time on people they hate instead on themselves.

You can read about folks calling me this n that in forums too LOL.

So, I guess todays take away is the same as always - you cant please everybody. Whatever you do, you will please some but at the same time unintentionally agitate others just for being yourself. But the important thing is to carry on doing what you do and dont stop just because the minority hurl stones. Society will always have these folks - you encounter them at school, work etc. Heck we should probably be grateful for their existence because each encounter we have with them, we learn and grow a little.

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

HAHAHAHAH!!! The first one cracked me up! I don't know your wife very well, or I should say AT ALL, but I'm pretty darn sure she knows that she's worth more then all of the toys you have in your house...i think i made sense...no wait...i HOPE i made sense...Hahaha, well and I'm sure that the person that wrote it had a really bad day...that's what it seemed like to me, but bad day or not, I don't see why people would even talk about your private life such as marriage. Well, anyways, thought I'd express my oppinion on the lifeless person from the first post...He should get a life...or wife...or maybe even a knife would work hahaha! Anyways, if I ofended anyone in anyways (hopefully I didn't because those were not my intentions) then I'm terribly sorry! >.< ^.^v

LOL hilarious... The fact that Danny's wife lets Danny do his stuff means that their marriage and bond is strong...

And the second one... Hah! Laughable! Go play some games or something and grow up...

    I LOL'ed.

Then I read it again, and LOL'ed some more. It's one thing for your close friends to be "concerned" (although they probably wouldn't be as forceful), it's something else to have strangers do it.

    Anyways, life goes on.

Thanks Danny for sharing your experience - it really helps me grow.

There's a bright side to this I think.

Means to say you got a lot of readers (obviously) but you can never get them to love you always. I'm not at least a bit bothered by what you post anyway.

What I love about most of these hates mails, and comments is the lack of spelling, or grammar. I think they need to spend their time taking lessons in proper English, or email structure. If you're going to write a proper hate mail at least make it legible.

All joking aside I've gotten hate comments before. My favorites include a girl telling me she was going to "leap through the computer and attack me" because she thought caps meant I was yelling at her. I was just using it for emphasis. The other one told me "you need therapy" after I told them to take down artwork they were claiming as theirs but was my friends. I just ignore these sorts of things. There's not point in getting riled up over it.
