Girl Photo Shoot

Apart from shopping for health care goodies, have you ever thought about attending a photo shoot of idols or ordinary school girls?
Akiba Map has more pics of a photo session held by AOM Space where you pay 2,000 yen to take pics of school girls.
Or have a look in the Idol Section for more details about attending idol photo shoots.
If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.
If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

Me and my buddies just waited at train stations to take photos of school girls. The cost was nothing, but the joys and laughs are priceless.

Considering that I often take pictures of models and showgirls at product launch events (which I'm getting paid for AND treated to lunch sometimes!), I'm gonna pass on this kind of photo sessions.
And FatBastard is right - those are some chunky thighs there.

Why pay more though? I like taking pictures of school girls in a normal background setting.

I would so do that just to have some fun. I've done a bit of modeling photography in my college days but haven't done anymore for some time. It's fun. And that price isn't to bad consider what some models cost for an hour shoot.

Damn those are some thighs...
They're mildly cute and all but nowhere near worth ~$20 to take pictures of. They're just ordinary school girls. I can camp out in front of a high school and hopefully take group pictures for free if I disguise as a reporter or something >_>

Y2000 for a photo shoot? I'd rather pay that much for an Idol photo shoot than a ordinary high school girl photo shoot
But I guess I won't mind paying that much either for a high school girl photo shoot 'coz this way it will be legal and you won't be accused of harassment...the organizer better make sure that the girls are cute

Well...When we went to Japan, we didn't take any picture of school girls. Instead, we asked school girls to take pictures of us. They were somewhat confused when I muttered, 「写真を撮ってもらいませんか。」in my broken Japanese. Maybe we should've charged them...
No thanks...

It looks like I'm going to Tokyo again in October - yay! I'd love to attend an idol photo event, especially as I've spent the price of a small family car on getting the EF-S 17-55 f2.8 lens for my EOS!
But I'm not sure how I would go about booking an event, or whether they even let Westerners into these events. Someone needs to organise gaijin photo sessions, they would make megabucks.
Oh well, I will take pictures of Kawaii girls in the street instead and risk getting punched/arrested/worse. :-)

While I'd never pay for that, I have to say the guy/girl who invented that is a genius.
I mean, from what I've seen so far, it's a fair bet that there are lots of photographers out there who would pay that sort of money to be in a place with less competition.
Also, if they are paying money, they'll probably feel they have the right to ask for other poses and stuff.
One could also see it as a cheap alternative to a real studio.
Also, if the people charging for this are smart enough, soon they'll be hiring cosplayers and some idols for the poses... they could charge even more, and share the profits.

£10($20) to take pics? Even if I was a guy I wouldn't pay that much for ordinary school girls unless I REALLY liked them.
And their skirts are too high(the waist) and the shirts are almost not there, stupid high waistband...
Low waistband, long shirt, short skirt. Tis how it should be!!!!

I will look for budget 1 to take. And occasionally I will participate in event that will have show gals. to improve my shoot. But I will seldom take school girls unless I need to fulfil my theme.

There are events for junior idols (U-15) at oiymoya a few times a week, but you have to buy lots of junior idol products at their store to get to take pictures. Visit link at own risk, info at bottom of page, maybe not a good site to visit at work (replace hxxp with http):

This wouldn't be bad for practice. 2,000 yen for models with experience is well... the closest you get to free. Wouldn't mind going to a few idol shoots as well. That would give me a little more experience with studio equipment. Everything I do is with a goal in mind...

Eee, no. I have never felt the need to take pictures of school girls.

I'd prefer to take pictures of adults dressed in school girl uniforms, who have prior experience in having their pictures taken.

such 'events' are heavily being organized here in our local photography community.

Interesting idea but I think the girls are rather unattractive.
