Onani Life

While in Akiba Asobit Game store yesterday I came across the "Onani" [オナに] goods section.
The word "Onani" means "self health care" and I think (please somebody correct me if wrong) that "Onani" has the same meaning in German and Korean.

There is a flier in the photo that promoted "a pleasurable Onani life" - 10% discount.

I know that many of you pick up doujin stuff while in Akiba but do you/will you pick up some of these?

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

What exactly is self health care? Cause Im getting pretty curious seeing some of the stuff on the bottom, especially towards the left.

Self health care is what you would do to yourself while looking at the "stuff on the bottom". (I.E. masturbate).

Onani refers to Onanism, which is another term for masturbation. The word is attributed to Onan, the son of Judah who was instructed to compulate with Tamar, Judah's daughter-in-law, so that she may have an heir. However just as he was about to ejaculate, he pulled out and spilt his semen on the ground because he wasn't quite ready to be a daddy yet. So God was pissed off at him and smite him to death.

While opponents of masturbation often used this as an example that masturbation is a sin, one must note that God didn't punish Onan for jerking off. Rather, it was because Onan went against God's word for not wanting to impregnate Tamar.

The Tenga ones are disposable single-use ones, but as a result, they manage to sell them at a pretty reasonable price, Amazon Japan sells them for just under 1000yen. I'll admit to having bought a couple of models out of curiosity, and they're just as good as the re-usable ones.

Reusable health care material is more expensive, and you do have to put up with proper washing, which can be, not to be too delicate, icky...

The nade Onani came from "onanism", is the act of finish sex with masturbation

This come from the bible, from Onan, a man who married his dead brother wife, in order to protect her.

The law of the zone obligated him to have sex with the woman, but he dont want to have children, to not share his father heredity.

He finished the act always outside masturbating himself.

    So thats the story

Out of curiosity, yes. But I'll have to Solid Snake my way out of that gamestore and silently kill anyone who recognizes me before they can reach for a camera or phone and sound the alarm.
