Taken at Comic Con - trailer for X-Men Origins Wolverine.
Does this mean that they are going to do an "Origins" movie for each of the other characters too?

Don't think so, the plan for origins was made during the second movie. Wolverine was always a hit amongst fans, but the background was never really explained in the movies.

I can't wait to see what they've made of Gambit by the way, was one of my favorite characters.

Also, don't postpone watching the trailer, it's being taken down everywhere.

No one's background was really explained in the movies... In sufficent depth at least.

Gambit doesn't look Gambity enough... You know? Not enough cajun mon ami...

Also, wish they show more stuff from the events in Origin (the comic mini-series)...

Wolverine is the only X-men character whose origins I am looking forward to seeing. I don't think the other team members' stories are interesting enough to warrant a movie.

Yes, I agree. It will also take more than this film to revive the X-Men franchise, thanks to that hack, Brett Ratner.

You cant really fault Ratner. They hired him way too late in the movie making process and gave him a deadline of like 6 months. If Fox had given him another year, im sure the movie would have been a lot better.

I'm giving this movie a shot. At least it has one main character to develop in it. Instead of equally showing 5-man super hero teams in the whole movie.

All the characters... don't think so.
Wolverine yes, because he has an interesting background, several comics dedicated to it, and I guess he is one of the favorite characters on the Marvel universe.

Also, a movie would do good to fix all the crap Marvel made some years ago with Wolverine's story. It was one of the reasons I stopped reading the comics.

I think there will only be an origins movie for Wolverine and may Dr. X (probably not though) because they're the only ones with a deep enough past. Since wolverine shows no signs of aging, I wonder what time period the movie is suppose to take place? The 60's maybe? Or maybe the 70's. Maybe I'm way off.

He got adamantized around the 60's, but he was born James Howlett in the 19th century in Canada. Wolverine: ORIGIN (the comic) is one of my favourite comic mini-series, though the story isn't very deep...

The plan is to make the Wolverine movie, followed by an orgin film for Magneto. No news has been released about movies involving the rest of the X-Men. Right now Marvel Movies is focused on doing movies about the Avengers characters so that they can release the Avengers movie soon.

I don't think they'll be making origins movies for everyone. But they are heading toward an Avengers movie, and regardless of Wolverine's obvious popularity, he has also been an Avenger. They're supposed to be working on Thor, Captain America and Ant Man movies as well, I think. There's already an Iron Man, and if they wanted, Spidey's been an Avenger as well. It just sort of depends on which Avengers team they want to make the movie about.
However there has also been talk of a Magneto film, so....

After watching Dark Knight, all other superhero movies looks boring to me. But this does look pretty good. Why does everyone like Gambit so much? The guy is an A-hole if you've ever read the comics.
Am also highly anticipating Watchmen, hope they don't screw that up. How about some coverage on Watchmen Danny?

I have seen pics from the set of Wolverine. This movie is really going to show how old Wolvie is. One scene is of him as a foot soldier during WWII. Also Sabertooth is less wild looking and more fierce looking in this film. Liev Schreiber looks like he was born to play the younger version of Creed. And should I mention, RYAN REYNOLDS AS DEADPOOL???? How cool is that.
