Have always wanted this resin kit figure of Natsumi by Bome and saw a link at Figure GK going to Yahoo Auction.
I thought, "OK I'm getting this. Now how much is it?"
I then saw the price which was 238,000 yen and immediately thought "OK, I'm not getting this."

Is that a joke auction? Like thumbing one's nose at the crowd going "Neener neener, I have this and you don't have it!"?

Even the Sengoku Rance 1/4 Uesugi Kenshin resin figure specially painted by professionals and put on sale at Volks shop in Osaka cost less than 60,000 yen.

    http://www.senakablog.com/archives/2008/02/post_1185.html

I would much rather have bought that pre-painted Kenshin.

The price of a resin figure varies wildly on a variety of factors. Rarity being one of them, and I think this one is pretty rare!
Paint job is incredibly neat as well.

But the last auction I saw sell for this much was a strike gundam Kitbash to turn it into an Akatsuki. But at least that started at a respectable 10,000 Yen. This figure has a starting bid of 238k. Keep an eye on it. I doubt it would sell for that much so it may reappear for a much cheaper price.

For quite some time, Bome had a deal with Kaiyodo to make PVC versions of his figures, but from what I've heard, that has ended. I guess that means we won't be seeing a cheaper version of this figure...

If you're a die hard keroro fan, and for really good quality plastic and metal material, then it should be your worth for it. Imo, it might just be a limit of one figurine of Natsume and that one figure only. So I guess it's worth it for the person who buys it.
