A chimpanzee at a zoo in western Japan apparently wanted to escape into the shade. To stay there, he disarmed a zoo worker.

  I think that's a bit exaggerated. Most cases like this in the US they just tranquilize it and deal with it later, unless it's a vicious anime that has gone out on a rampage.
