Hijacked from Dancing Queen who shows us what could be the first Itasha in the US of A?
More pics at her blog.
If you are thinking of doing this to your car too then have a look at the previous Itasha Show article for more inspiration.
Who's next to do this to their car (or their dads/mums car)?

Original text from Dancing Queen below.

Made Myself an Otaku car! i'm super excited about this! Does anyone else have stuff like this? You can see more pictures of my car at my Blog Howagirlfigures.com

i would suggest get a sticker that's big enough to cover a good part of your vehicle to avoid the "cuts" on them. I dunno how to explain it well lol I just don't want the stickers getting cut abruptly.

Maybe you can add something extra to put together the stickers so it looks like a complete design.

In my Hellsing themed atv I used red tribals like Alucard's red outfit vanishing behind of his face besides of a few text words like Hellsing and some bikes sponsors and I think it turn nice picture here: http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn30/Dann_055/HellsingAtv.jpg

Nice work on the stickers and you just proved you have more "stones" then most guys. Personally, I just can't bring myself to put any type of decal on a car. When I grew tired of them chances are the paint would be a different shade underneath the stickers then the rest of the car (paint fades in sun).

That's sweet. I never got further than putting little (subtle) "eX-D" decals just ahead of the rear wheel arches. If I had a modern I might try it, but I couldn't bring myself to to do that to a classic, no matter how much I love anime. Besides, the Alfa club, mechanic and folks would probably shoot me. The Lotus mob would laugh themselves silly... then shoot me.

Since 99.9% of the Australian anime-geek community probably doesn't know what eX-Driver is (let alone the general populace) I think I'm pretty safe with the the "eX-D"s for now :P

Nice work printing them out yourself too. Might have been better if you lined the cut offs up with the car's pannel lines though.

Looks great, vynil stickers also work great and here in T.O. a sticker that's as big as a skate deck that's professionally printed (laser) is about $20CN. I think it's a worth it investment to get it professionally printed but with $60US a pop...that's a bit too much.

I wish I could cover my parents car with lovely anime-goodness. But they would most likely have a fit.

I dont wanna learn to drive yet.... so I won't have my own car to play with.

It's amazing how nobody said that the Itasha article link was broken, it links to article 1342 while it should point out to 1341 (http://www.dannychoo.com/adp/eng/1341/Itasha+Show.html)...

I like to get me a old Chevy car. Put some new internals a 300+ hp small block with loud exhaust. Clean out the inside with a video screen for all passengers with 5.1 surround, and put a Urd spread on the side of that two door Caprice and a Mikuru on the long hood life sized. Color it a nice pink. That's pimpin'.
I like to do that in the future after I pay off my current truck in two or so years and drive around in Albuquerque. I could do that by myself and possibly those would be airbrushed with a coat of clear to protect it.

I consider it a bad idea to block windows with anything so I would really disproof of the one covering the rear window.

As for adding something to the parent's car... well I failed to even add a simple URL so fat chance :P
