Yikes! It hasnt been 24 hours since my last batch of SAFS and yet this Goodsmile Alloy Tachikoma appears out of thin air ^^;
This die cast Tachikoma truly a stunning piece of work with a load of moving bits and a cockpit that opens at the back to reveal an articulated Motoko figure. I think its out this month and retails for 17,800 yen - a few more pics at Mikatan Blog. Will take more detailed pics when the weather clears up a bit.

    Wow, that's really nice. Looks great on anyone's desk. I'd probably not get any work done and just play around with it all day, making that girly Tachikoma voice and saying stuff like attack mouse, attack modem or attack Wacom!! LOL

    The Motoko figure that comes with it looks great from Mikatan's blog.

    It comes with a Motoko inside? Well, I've been wanting a Tachikoma and a Motoko; it'd be great if I could get them together. The Motoko looks pretty decent, too. That is a really fantastic looking Tachikoma. But good gracious, it's expensive!

    I saw Tachikoma figures several times... dunno if it was this one, but it was made of metal and you could plug it to USB or something.
    Anyways, really nice... I'd buy it.

    Yeah that Tachikoma is so awesome. I almost picked one up myself, but there are a few other bots I want and for that price. The spider tanks will have to wait there turn in the line of mecha I have on my want list. Still beautiful.
