Shunya Yamashita

Hijacked from Gordon because I wanted to ask whether you enjoy the works of Shunya Yamashita - this Nida figure is based on his illustrations. I ask because apparently he is not as popular as I thought amongst the Japanese otaku community - so some folks in the industry tell me.

Here's a humble photoshoot by yours truly of the lovely Nida Schuetlich by Good Smile Company. The equally lovely flower you see with her is known as orchid. It's the national flower of Singapore and I think it goes well with Nida's bright purple hair. What do you guys/girls think? click here if you want to see more. ^^;

Btw, Singapore engineers orchid hybrids and sometimes holds a naming ceremony whereby a new orchid hybrid will be named after VIPs and special people visiting Singapore like celebrities, presidents of other countries etc.

Wouldn't it be cool to have a flower name after you? ^^;
