National Service

Interesting to see the skills they teach you in the army - how to turn yourself into a tank with a partner. The guy below has the "hmmmm, I feel like some fish n chips for lunch."

I know that there is compulsory national service in Singapore and South Korea and wondering how many of you have been through the service and what other parts of the world implement compulsory national service.

The first thing that pops in my mind when I hear "national service" is "must be difficult to find time for health maintenance" especially when you have to share rooms?
