No GF Means Killer

TV stations are desperate to generate more views for their channels but now they are going a bit over the top.
It was discovered that the Akihabara killer left messages on a BBS saying that he didn't have a girlfriend which meant the end of life for him. Some reports had the killer saying that if he had a girlfriend that maybe he would not have killed so many people (huh?)
So the TV stations are stopping folks at Akihabara and asking people who don't have a girlfriend "what do you think of the killers actions?" As if somebody is going to say "yeah I feel sorry and feel for him."
I'm sure the media in your region are evil but the Japanese media is particularly evil.
