Uploader Spam + Bloggtiquette

This only applies to folks using the Uploader.
Hijacked from Neil not because I want to highlight the iPhone but because I want to show you the perfect example of what I do not want to see.
In this case Neil says "Some of the first pics of the iPhone 2.0" which is misleading because there is in fact only one extra pic at his blog. He does not quote the source of his photos either at his blog but that is his decision.
I know it looks like I'm picking on Neil but needed his example to go over the rules of uploading stuff. I've had to delete previous posts like this before.
1.Do not use the uploading as a tool for spamming - spamming in this case means "go to my blog for more pics" but when users arrive they only see one pic or the same pic that was posted.
2.I do not mind however if there are truly more pics to be seen like the bedroom/figure pics that have been posted of late etc.
3.I make sure that members url is displayed as a [www] where possible and hope members can see that I am trying my best to drive traffic to their site. I would ask members not to spoil things for their self and get banned ^^;
4.Posting x number of posts in a row is fine for now just as long as its inline with what I have been posting so far.
5.I also post off-topic stuff from time to time but just as long as its interesting then its fine.
6.Again - no pics of 3D girls with wide open poses and no naked lolis please ^^;
7.Nothing to do with the uploader but about nettiquette or blogttique I guess - I recommend bloggers to quote their source where possible. Linking to the source is good for your readers. Not linking to the source does not mean you have something exclusive - it means that you are not being honest with your readers and the growth of your traffic will reflect that.
8.Bloggtiquette - linking to "official" sites only is not good. It does not matter whether a blog is a newbie or has similar content to your site. Linking is sharing and sharing is good. Linking means growth for those who share. Have a look at the Alexa growth rate of bloggers who only link to official sites - you will notice that they don't grow much.
9.Bloggtiquette - Folks worried about loosing readers by linking to a site which has similar content wont grow either. It means that they are not confident with the quality of their own site as they expect to loose readers by guiding them to something with similar content.
Users will not ditch a site that has good content but will ditch a site where the webmaster (is that word still used these days? ^^;) is not being honest with their readers. Be honest and open with your readers and enable then to discover other sites with similar content - trying to keep them "caged in" within your site is not good for you or the reader.
10.I dont want to lecture folks on how to blog but would like to share some of my experience.
11.Nearly forgot - please check previous posts before posting what may become a duplicate - duplicates will be deleted.
Folks who find it difficult to observe these rules are automatically dismissed from duty. Sorry for the tough words - I tried to word everything nicely ^^;
