Shinjuku

#v#flv_shinjuku.jpg#v# Shinjuku was my "hub" for about a year and a half when I first came to Japan - I lived in West Tokyo taking the Seibu Shinjuku line into Shinjuku and then changing trains.
So what would you expect if you went to Shinjuku? Well expect to find Sakuraya and Bic Camera - the two main electronics shops, Sakuraya Hobby Kan (tons of figures n Gundams), Marui Mens (huge department store selling mens clothes - and five times more department stores for the ladies), Kabukicho (seedy area a bit like Soho in London), tons of places to eat at and a few skyscrapers. Did I forget to mention Yakuza? If you fancy a bit of living on the edge then you may want to try your dab hand at getting all rowdy in Shinjuku - and before you know it, geezers with dragons tattooed on their backs will come and chop off yer little fingers.
