A new series of "Mahou tsukai ni taisetsu na koto" called Natsu no Sora will go on air this July. Never seen the first series but will add it to my list to check out. Has anybody seen the first series or read the manga?
Original series OP below.

I had watched the first season, and also bought and read the manga. It's quite a slow pace story (might even fall asleep), but it does deliver values applicable to reality. I'm surely looking forward to a second season ^^. One of my favourite all time quotes was also from the first season: 心を込めて. "Kokoro wo Komete" by Yume Kikuchi.

I wanna add that the music of this anime is quite nice. It uses a lot of piano and violin pieces.

I second the music, and the anime series was relaxing and enjoyable to watch, kind of like Aria

Sadly, I have yet to check out the comics...I will have to add it to my list of things to do.

I watched it (Someday's Dreamer), wasn't extremely exciting, but the animation and art style was lovely.

I really enjoyed the origianl series. It's kind of a slow slice of life show. I thought it ended a little abruptly, and would have like to have seen more about the chacters. I hope they at least make an apperance in this one.

I love the op music for this series. I have the manga of it too. Haven't actually seen the whole series yet though... shame... because it seems lovely. Might make a point of looking into this new spinoff when it comes out.

Thanks for the heads up! :icchan grin:

The first series was really nicely written and animated. A very engaging take on the old "kids with psi powers" theme.

I am pretty surprised there will be a new production related to the show. The original series was one of my favs as well, for the nice ambient, nice songs/ost, and nice storyline.

This is so going to my watch list, no doubt.
