More pics just up of Figma Kanu at Hobby Stock. Retails for 2,800 yen and will be out in July. I think this is the first Figma where the elbow joints are not on clothing. Do the Figma joints bother you?

I dont think I'll be able to carry this one around due to her hair. The Figma Mikuru looks portable though.

Generally, in my opinion, the joints are more obvious on the Figma than the Fraulein Revoltech.

But I definitely want Figma Kanu. She's a must have I think. And yeah, the long hair looks really delicate.

They don't bother me, I think the figma figures achieve a better look than the fralein figures which look too solid like the characters are too stiff.

That is because if you pose your Fraulein Revoltech the way you would Pose a figma it would break or the arms would fall off..

You can try Rapid Culture at Cathay Cineleisure or China Square Central or The Anime House at Sunshine Plaza.

There are local dealers that deal online also.

joints dont bother me, im more interested in the pretty ladies being brought to life through these along with poseability options. basically im more in awe of the concept of NICE lookin articulate figures as opposed to pointing out the ugly.

Ugh, I'm sick of all these Kanu figures. Can the figure company like, make something else?

I wonder who are the people buying all these Kanu figures. No wait, actually, I don't want to know.

a good friend of mine buys nearly ever Kanu she sees. Kanu's attractive. They make what they think will sell.

imo, companies need to make for male figures for the growing fujoshi/female otaku market.

Hmm..I would skip the Lucky Star 4.
    Nanoha and Fate looks good..
Now theres Kanu..(later Sonsaku and Chouhi?)..

Seems like now is one 2500yen school girl basic Figma and one 2800yen deluxe fighter/magical girl Figma per month?

The effort needed to procure figures and plamo really drains the want to get them in me.

I feel that otaku spirit draining out..

The joints don't look so great, but I don't care. Figmas are a lot of fun! If I wanted something w/o joints I'd stick to just the normal figures and not bother with ones which move.

...Okay, seriously... I really need to start finding these blasted things. As the brand-spankin' new Revoltech Gurren Lagann sitting on my desk tells me, pictures on the net just don't do these figures justice... XD

It would be nice if Figma branched out more into characters from anime containing combat; the articulation will really make for some dynamic mini-dioramas (not to mention the potential Smash Bros-style crossover fights bound to happen on collectors' shelves... ^_^)

from the pics, i think the hair for kanu comes in three parts, one sticking out in the front, the base hair and the long tail at the back, i could be wrong but i hope the base hair is a complete one with a attachment for the tail hair and not a half base hair with the tail hair.
kanu would also look nice without the tail hair
so far for joints figure, still prefer microman or microlady, the assembleborg from revotech looks ok to me too, figma joints are good, hope fraulein joints get remake or improved

I pre-ordered this Kanu figma. The figma joints may not look too pretty, but it gives them the extra poseability. Figma is much better than Fraulein Revoltech though. My Fraulein Revoltech Rei's shoulders keep on falling apart, revealing the mechanism of the Fraulein joints. And it ain't pretty. And it's irritating.
