Hijacked from Johno. Very nice collection indeed. I could never keep my figures in their boxes though - many of them are so cute and crying out "play with me!" Most of your collection in or out of the boxes?
Also check out Johno's news items to see many of his dakimakura cases.

Original text from johno below.
I couldn't take a good angle picture to show all of my figures. This is the best I could come up with, hopefully you can point out everything in my collection. To the left, I have some dvd collections (way more to the WAY left) and a crap load of Megami/Dengeki magazines. To the right, I have my Bome collection, but I'll have to take a seperate picture for those figures. As you can see, I like keeping the figures in their original boxes. I can't seem to throw the boxes away, I usually rotate to display on my tv/desk.

I have two doubles in there, can you figure them out?! It's pretty easy, one of them is a fake. Don't ever buy China merchandise on eBay. Lesson was learned a long time ago. ;p

Keeping them in their boxes should actually save space since you can stack them, as shown here. If you get them out of their boxes you must have the space to arrange them neatly and stuff ;)

Agreed from earlier, I've seen fake Ignis from Max Factory made.

The Sonsaku is a resin kit? I have the actual pink one sitting in front of me. The boy is smaller and isn't just plain white.

I also can't bear to throw away the boxes, so I just put smaller boxes inside larger boxes to save space.
Since I don't have that many figures, I dont have any problems with space.

BTW, very nice collection, to me I think it would like nicer if they were all displayed on a shelf.

I won't open up the ones that come in those stupid plastic boxes (like the Bome figures), but I'll take out the ones in the regular boxes (and keep the boxes). It annoys me that I can't do anything with them (they just hang on my wall), but I'm thoroughly opposed to messing with the darn boxes. It's a strange conflict, but it helps knowing that I'd have no shelf space for them if I did take them out.

That room does look like some sort of store, though, as someone already mentioned. And keeping them in their boxes does at least keep the dust away. :)

Yeah. I want to say they're called...blister boxes? I thought I'd heard that somewhere. I really hate them. They're great for store display purposes, I guess, since you can see everything. But they're a pain to open, and you obviously can't close them back up if you need to.

Very nice collection, but I belive that enjoy more for figure outside the boxs. At least is my opinion. Anyway, I always keep the box for figures

All of my figures except for one Ed figure and one Giroro figure are out of their boxes. I don't know why I left them in their boxes... O_o Oh, and my Bridget figure and my Reno figure are in their boxes, but that's because I'm making space to display them :)

I've taken my figures out of their boxes and put them on display, but of course I've kept all the boxes, because figures wouldn't be perfect and complete without them, and besides, it's a lot easier to put them into their boxes if you, for example, move to an another place.

Right now I only have blind box trading figures, so it would be pretty pointless to keep them in their boxes.

I used to do that back in the day when I collected Spawn figures. But it was usually only the figures that were extremely rare and hard to find. Like the ones that only came one per every other case. Nowadays I just take everything out of the box. I can't help it, I'm still a kid at heart. I love playing with my toys.

Of course they come out of their boxes. I'm the kind of person that can't throw away things...you know what I mean? Besides, it's convenient to keep my boxes just in case I want to NOT dust all my figs or suddenly move elsewhere. I don't even throw away my shoe boxes. LOL

I have all my figures outside the box, I like to display them, play with them, stare at them for some time.

I do, however, keep some of the boxes for the figures that are either expensive or that I really really like, in case I want to move them away or something.

I don't see it as bad to have them in boxes, but I personally can't appreciate a figure unless it's outside of the box.

Wow I could never keep my figures in the boxes. Well, there are a couple that I did cause the box was nice but everything else I opened and displayed. I think I might when I run out of room to display them, but otherwise I like to keep them out. I would also be too lazy to take them out then put them back and rotate lol.

I can't believe even the FREEing Haruhi figs are boxed...they don't even have a window! Why spend THAT much to have a figure you can't even look at.....

Although this guy could sell his Ignis figures for a pretty penny though since they're still boxed. But still if you give me a figure I really want and tell me if I keep it boxed for 2 years I'll be able to sell it for 3 times what I paid I'd still open it to display it.

I do save all my boxes though, I keep them in the basement.
