To Love Ru Figures

Two yummy 1/8 scale figures out this September by Alpha Omega - LaLa and Konjiki No Yami.
Both will retail for 6,615 yen.
Been waiting for a decent figure of LaLa in her school outfit - love that waistline.

The animation quality of the current run of To Love Ru is terrible at times but I still watch it. Anybody dropped this or is watching?

    Yeah, the animation quality could be better but it's not bad enough for me to drop this series. So I continue to watch. :)

    Will put the Yami-chan figure on my preoder list as soon as I see her listed in the shop I usually buy from.

    Yami-chan figure looks just amazing! definitely a must get.
    And since there is no proper figures of Eve from Black Cat (love this character), well, it like killing two birds with one stone ^^

    Not convinced by Lala though. I have a preference for GoodSmile one for now.

    still prefer GSC's version of Lala, but that Yami chan's figure looks delicious... XD

    i'm still following the anime, but the quality has dropped significantly these last few episodes... i found myself fast forwarding the latest episode. might drop it soon since i've been following the manga all the while, and it doesn't look like there will be any anime exclusive content.

    Still watching To Love Ru and will probably finish the series. Been loads of fun. :)

    The Lala figure's color looks dull to me especially if you compare it to Shueisha's Haruna. Can't really decide if I want it since I have already ordered GSC's Lala.

    Yami looks good. I will probably pre order her. But again, I am hoping to see GSC's Yami prototype soon so that I can do a comparision before deciding which one to go with.

    Hmm I've not seen figures by Alpha Omega before I think, those pics do look nice though. Is the quality of their figures overall generally good?

    I haven't dropped ToLoveRu yet, but it's pretty low on my priority list for watching. My two favourite characters (Yami-chan and Kotegawa) haven't shown up yet though, so I've gotta atleast stick around til they do :p and by then I'll probably have watched so much that I'll just finish it for completeness sake..

    I'm rather let down by the "To Love Ru" anime sadly, the animation is quite poor indeed and somehow the ecchi/comedy mix from the manga isn't translated well, the fun yet naughty atmosphere of the manga is lost.

    I'll probably pre-order Yami-chan because she is my favorite To Love Ru character. The only downside is waiting for a USA release date of October 30th (according to KNC). Its going to be a long five months! I am going to stick with the TLR anime till the end even though its not as enjoyable as the manga. I have to at least wait for Yami-chan's appearance.

    If the quality is enough for you to quit watching an Anime series, I really hope you didn't watch any anime from the 80s or 90s, cause compared to the animation we get today, it was terrible. =]

    I'm still watching, quality may not be top notch, but it makes me laugh and that is all that is important to me. If I get entertainment from a show then I watch it, if I don't, then I won't.

    ...Animation quality's just a bonus for me - I tend to focus on storyline and characters. I'm also really stubborn, so unless it's puke-worthy horrible I'll stick with a series until the end. Even if it bores me to death. ><

    I'm currently watching To LoveRU and have no plans of dropping it.

    I did notice the quality isn't up to par with most anime being released now-a-days, but it doesn't bother me. I'm picky with the art/drawing style, but not picky with animation quality to the point I will refuse to watch something because of it. If it's enjoyable, I don't care about quality. I will, however, not watch or read something if the characters are horribly drawn. >>; (A lot of yaoi stuff comes to mind.. squared bodies, flat chins/poke your eye out chins, humungous hands..)

    I'm not sure who Yami is yet, but I do like her figure(s). I like Lala's, I'm guessing it's the Good Smile version as people have been mentioning, other figure with her in her Deviluke outfit. Would totally think of picking up Yami. Love her outfit.

      I thought it was a scaled down water tower, or some sort of tower thing that is normally ontop of a building. But I'm really not sure. <<;

        It is a scaled down version of the smoke pipes/chimney that they have on Public Baths.

    a guy who cares (sort of...)

    Anime version of To Love-Ru is such a huge disappointment (similar to animated Rosario+Vampire). I know that long manga series are not the best material for a TV series but on the other hand animated One Piece or Naruto prove that IT IS possible. And what do we get in To Love-Ru anime ? 13 friggin' episodes for a 12 volumes of manga, this is pathetic... The quality of animation is poor, the story is poor too and deviates very strong from manga plotline. I really don't know why I'm watching it, the only reasonable explanation it that deep inside I'm a masochist...

    I like the detail on Yami, interesting prop too. Probably not my kind of series to watch though, especially since even fans of the series are complaining about the anime ^^;;

    I like To Love-ru, it's an entertaining show that doesn't require much brain effort. I've also got a Lala figure preordered for sometime in the next few months.

    Got both pre-ordered :) I'm a bigger fan of Yami's figure in general. But I'm a huge sucker for long pink hair and LaLa's hair looks GREAT! Plus I don't like the outfit she is in in the GSC one.
