Psycho Pass

Psycho-Pass [サイコパス] is an original sci-fi thriller being produced by Production I.G [プロダクションIG] (Ghost in the Shell, Eden of the East). It is being directed by Shiotani Naoyoshi [塩谷直義] (Blood-C: The Last Dark) and written by Urobuchi Gen [虚淵玄] (Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero).
Psycho-Pass will broadcast on Fuji TV's noitaminA [ノイタミナ] slot at 2012/10/12 12:45AM JST.

The story takes place in the near future where it has become possible to quantify a person's emotions, desires, tendencies, and psychological state into an index called a "Psycho-Pass." In order to ensure public safety, "enforcers" hunt down those with a high potential to commit crime and "monitors" accompany the enforcers in order to neutralize them if they become potentially criminal themselves.

The OP is abnormalize by Ling Tosite Sigure [凛として時雨], and is slated for release 2012/11/14. You can hear a preview of the song in the second PV above. The ED is Namae no Nai Kaibutsu [名前のない怪物] (Monster with no Name) by EGOIST and will be available 2012/12/05.
