Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai!
Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! [中二病でも恋がしたい!] is a light novel adaptation produced by Kyoto Animation (K-on, Haruhi) with Ishihara Tatsuya [石原立也] (Clannad, Air) as director.
The main characters in the story are dealing with “chuunibyou” or “middle-school second-year disease”, the delusional phase where teenagers believe they have special backgrounds and powers such as those of anime or manga characters. The official English title is "Regardless of My Adolescent Delusions of Grandeur, I Want a Date!"
Togashi Yuta, who has kept his chuunibyou in remission after entering high school, struggles to keep his new life after ending up making a contract with Takanashi Rikka who is still strongly afflicted by her illness.
