Actually lots of stuff like this happens in the US. The group called "Improv Everywhere" gets together complete strangers to go on subways without pants or to do a giant dance in New York. It kind of happens all the time, with lots of groups, as those videos get very popular on the internet. Sometimes there are hundreds! I think something like 800 people did a Michael Jackson dance in Los Angeles. Something like that.
