K-On! Second Season
You've been expecting it and now the official site has announced it - the K-ON! second season.
More K-ON! means more merchandise which means many fans will be even more poorer - especially with COSPA goodies like these.
This bag has a reversible cover - the other side is without the girls for folks using it to travel to school or work and may be embarrassed for some reason.
You is being a K-ON! fan or one of those "I-don't-get-what-the-K-ON!-fuss-is-about."
I was like this with Lucky Star at first - didn't get it but decided to watch again after the figures came out and now love it.
Have always loved K-ON! from episode one though. I remember watching the first few episodes a few times because I wanted moar while waiting for the next weeks episodes ^^;

lots of good shows had no real plot at all. Cowboy Bebop had no real Plot untill the last episodes, Planetes had no real Plot for the first 8 episodes and most slice of life don't have one either.

Yes, thats true. But for most shows, there are situations where the protagonists have to solve a problem, do something interesting or at least act in way where the viewer thinks "Ok, this was unexpected, interesting and I wonder what will happen next." In K-ON! it just felt like on cake after another. Nothing that really struck me, no actual suspense curve whatsoever.
I have to admit though, the characters were cute and somewhat unique, even though you can draw many pcharacters to lucky star or haruhi.

I agree with you in K-on being empty ... it was cute, I'll give it that, but apart from that I was rather disappointed. Especially at KyoAni worming their way out of animating the performances ... are they a successful studio or not?

You are so right. It's why I love 'slice-of-life' shows, just relax and not worry about some major plot going on. Ichigo Mashimaro, Azumanga Daioh, or Lucky Star were like this as well.
It may not be everybody's 'cup of tea' but that doesn't mean it's not good.

Yay! K-on serves its purpose as a moe blob anime, it definitely makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside! When I found out azone was going to release azunyan I did not do a 1/6th custom head can't wait to see her in doll form! So thats at least one bit of k-on merchandise I will be trying to get!

For all of you saying that K-ON has no plot or story and its sucks.. I'm here to tell you that all anime is not about slaying vampires and demons or being a ninja and your grandfather being a hokage!! There are many different genres of anime just like there are different genres of books. K-ON is one of those anime's that tell of something that can really happen in life or that other people can relate too. Maybe if you give Yui and Mugi and Mio and Ritsu a chance then you may come to find that thier anime is quite lovey..... I remember Danny always ranting about some anime named K-ON before it was even aired on tv.. Luckily i decided to give it a chance like 3 months ago. Im glad that i did because I almost missed out on one of my best anime experiences ever:-)
I went into this season with the expectation of “EVERYTHING WILL SUCK” so I could try getting myself pleasantly surprised, but K-On had no pleasant surprises and it lived up to the expectation of “IT WILL SUCK”. It was 24mins of boring and I find KyoAni trolling the world about Haruhi more entertaining and engaging than K-On. Maybe I would/could appreciate it if I was a guy with a nutbladder since all this has going for it is the element of trying too hard at being ~moe~ and it’s extremely easy to recognize. What I find moe is shit like fingersnap summoning gun turrets and this piece of crap has none of that. It’s obvious where they added in parts to raise the ~moe~ level. I haven’t read the manga, but I don’t need to see that anything that moved the episode along was from the manga which composes… oh I’ll be kind and say 1/5th of the episode, and the other 4/5th’s is composed of over emphasized ~moe~ scenes (ie: any scene where Yui is a klutz) and is mindless original content to fill some empty gaps to stretch it out to 20mins. I don’t care about the act of filling in the gaps because that’s pretty normal, it’s just the filled in parts I happen to find boring and/or dumb because there’s nothing for me in them. Also, nice animation, their hands look like yellow playdough wads with mini hotdogs strangely stuck in a formation as the fingers, or maybe that’s a new form of ~moe~ and it went over my head. I usually give everything a 4-5 episode try, but screw this, dropped at episode 1. I’m not the target demographic and I’m not going to bother, but feel free to call me back when Yui becomes a badass guitar ninja! (aka never)

I enjoyed K-ON with the exception of the lack of animation during the music performances. I want to see the girls, not the background scenery stills. ^^;
Also, I admit the girls were cute but lately I've been watching a slice of life show called Minami-ke. That, in my opinion, is a much more solid slice of life anime.
Oh also, someone I work with picked up a Cospa hoodie similar to that one at Comiket but a bit more conservative. You can hardly tell it's anime clothes unless you are up close. That is the kind of clothes I'd be more likely to buy.

I really love shows like K-ON! It's a great series to watch after watching a depressing series that makes you want to kill yourself at the end.
My friend was in Japan last year and got some a few K-ON! merchandise during her stay. She gave me Yui's Castanets (the ones she uses in the first episode during her elementary school flashback) and they're just the cutest things ever.
