Sharing a video with gorgeous night time aerial views of Tokyo Metropolis found at Goshaku Gomen.

Have been making a point to go but never got round to it - if you want to see the same views of Tokyo with your very own set of optical eyes, you may want to check out the helicopter services of Excel Air.

Prices are:-
Day Course (15 min flight) - 8,500 yen
Twilight Course (15 min flight) - 9,500 yen
Night Course (20 min flight) - 18,000 yen

Elderly folks get 20% off, disabled folks get 30% off and you get a most generous 300 yen off if you book online.

the beginning of the video was so pretty! its amazing how packed the areas are. I went to new york a couple years back and was frightened looking up at the giant buildings after living in more land spacious area for so long.

I don't know the average costs, but that seems a bit pricey for 15 min of flight time. At least make it 20 min! =/

  per person. Checked on the English ver. of the page. It also mentions that you should book your flight at least 2 months before showing up for the night course. It may seem expensive but it's average cost for a heli ride and, well, I think it's really worth the price, you can get to film (no photographic cameras!) those cools sights from above.
